Valu Stay Inn Owatonna

The customer service was great, the guy working the front desk was very nice. I got in really late with no reservation and just needed a place for myself to stay, they were out of single rooms, so he put me in a larger room at the price of a single. The actual room was gross, the carpet seemed kind of sticky all over, everything was really dingy and dirty.

It's a nice basic motel. Clean and well cared for. The breakfast was toast and cold cereal but at the price I was pleasantly surprised. Small upgrades to the room and a wonderfully secure door. The front desk staff was nice and helpful. My only complaint is room service came at 10am while check out is at 11 and so we felt a bit rushed, we booked a king but got a double queen. Over all I'd certainly stay here again.

Nice clean hotel and at the right price friendly staff very pleased with hotel love the fact all rooms are non smoking the rooms smell great and inviting will definitely stay here again.

I found a cockroach in my room. I took a picture of it and brought it to the front desk and they told me it's not they fault. I asked for my money back and they would not refund me my money!!! This place is dirty and do not own up to their mistakes.!
