Breakfast was very good. Went back for supper looking for seafood meal. Seafood pasta was awesome with a bit of kick. Got Surf and Turf and it was really enjoyable. Lots of al denté vegs and basmati rice with lemon zest, capers and sundried tomatoes was a perfect bed for the shrimp and scallops. Supper was very busy with two large groups but the staff moved quickly. Family business is not easy but the atmosphere was nice and staff friendly and helpful. Even so, kitchen prepare food properly under all that pressure. Told Vanessa, the owner that her and her team were doing a great job and we appreciated all their service and food. She was there cleaning in the morning and was handling the payments during the Tuesday evening dinner rush. Super belle job à votre équipe Vanessa!
We had a great time visiting the restaurant. It was spacious with great vibes. The staff were super sweet and dynamic. Food was also excellent. The sea food pasta was well seasoned with generous amounts of seafood. The only downside was the long waiting time to be served after ordering. Overall, great stop!
Best food for miles. Great selection of seafood dishes and local beers. All at a very reasonable price. Recommend the seafood pasta get a large portion
Valmont never disappoints. Always fresh , great menu options, creative, friendly staff. It is a highlight of our stays in Gaspesie, year over year. Also we are English speakers with rudimentary Francais, we muddle through it a bit and the staff is always helpful enough to assist us . Just go and enjoy!
It could get very busy and they tend to forget orders. We waited 45min after we finished our appetizer and when we asked our server, she just said that alot of guests went in at the same time hence the longer waiting time which was a lie since several tables who went after us already got their orders lol when the food arrived, my shrimp poutine was missed. She must have forgotten that I ordered it. anywayyyyyyyyy, food was okay. Nothing special ‍
