We take one or two trips to the area (Nisswa/Pelican Lake) every year. We discovered this place last year, after having pizza from the old location in Merrifield. It took me a couple visits to really grasp the menu/what it was (I think I mentioned to the staff they really need an Instagram or Facebook presence that they update). At first I just went in and bought a freezer meal. Then came back and bought a cinnamon roll or something. Then I asked more questions. We ended up eating there everyday in some fashion. It is pretty much a bunch of friendly ladies (and maybe a couple guys) who make good food to eat in or carryout. I am not sure but unofficially I suspect their thought process is "What do we want to make today? Okay let's make that!". We bought all their banana bread, the next day they had strawberry bread (it was June). Then we bought all that and they made something else. We had breakfast there a few times and lunch a few times, and stopped for coffee several times. The atmosphere is exceptionally adorable. Give this place a try and don't be shy!

Great food and service in a relaxed environment. Try the takeout meals for that home cooked taste in the comfort of your own home.
