Wow!!! Best pizza I’ve ever had! Would have been 5 stars but I ordered the Stromboli w/o green peppers flavor makes me gag and they must have put em on by accident. I still ate the Stromboli simply because it was amazing flavor and the spicyness of it took away some of the flavor of the green peppers.
Awesome place! I had The Chicago and my girlfriend had The Bomb, both delicious. The food took a little while to come out, but our server was spectacular, so it's all balanced out. Will more than likely return if we're in the area again.
Prices are unbeatable. So is there service. There's a loud and friendly woman behind the bar and we love her. Her energy is just electric. The food is tasty. Try "the bomb" Doughboys are legit. Food came out fast! The 4 of us ordered a large pizza, 2apps, dessert, and a beer for $45. Wild! So glad we found this spot.
We had the most amazing time! The waitress Natalie who doesn't even work there! She was just helping out totally made a gf's birthday. The food was excellent. The staff were just awesome. I live 2.5hrs away, but I will def go back. So good and the prices are excellent! I cannot say enough good things about this place and the staff :
On the 4 hour drive home from visiting Chicago our family went 45 mins out of our way to eat at Val's. We just had to have a double order of Doughboys & three The Bomb!!! stuffed sandwiches. A family favorite for sure!Food: 5/5
They're food is amazing. Spaghetti sandwich is great idea and tastes so good. My kids love this meal as well. Never had a problem we normally do take out but they do have a bar and also a dining area and kid friendly.Food: 5/5
Was in town from Michigan and had to swing through for old times' sake. My wife had a beef sandwich I of course, had the bomb the stuffed beef sandwich, which was always on point. This time, the wife's sandwich was better than the bomb‍ Feels like something changed, and it wasn't as good as it used to be a few years back. Service was perfect and friendly. The place was clean, the bathrooms were clean as well.

We are in the area visiting the Indiana Dunes State and National Parks. Googled for a good pizza place and decided to try Val's. It was excellent. The service was great. Our stromboli could not have been better.Food: 5/5
The worst service ever! I have never given a bad review to any establishment ever! Dine in was a disaster to just get a drink! Refills forget it! Delivery I was waiting an hour past the hour wait time! The food is great but good luck getting basic service dine in or delivery!
