Must visit place for an Authentic Maharashtrian food experience in Vancouver ! Portion sizes are big so please check before ordering. Hard paper menu cards will be good addition for Non Marathi people to know what they are ordering. Very good ambiance. Dishes are somewhat higher priced. Parking available on back side of restaurant.
I wanted my friend to try Marathi food so I took him to this restaurant. It was the best decision ever, the food was amaziiiing. More than that, we both became fans of the owner's hospitality. The owner personally went to the customers and asked for their feedback. It was almost the closing time of the restaurant and we were also served complimentary tea. Overall, this place should be on the bucket list if someone is in Vancouver/Metro Vancouver and wants to try authentic Marathi delicacies.
The best Maharashtrian food in town. Most Indian restaurants in Metro Vancouver serve Punjabi or South Indian dishes. This restaurant specializes in Maharashtrian cousins. The food is very authentic in taste and the quantity is pretty good. The owner is very friendly and helped us choose our food as well. The food is a bit on the spicy side, as the name suggests. So please let them know if you are looking for milder options. We have been here many times and tried out almost all the dishes. I would highlight recommend vada pav, pitla bhakri, misal, puran poli and masala chai.

Simply in love with this place! They serve authentic Maharashtrian food! Gave me the taste that I have been missing here.nI really loved every single thing I tried here. However if you cannot order everything that I did, then for your sweet cravings, definitely try puran poli. For your savory cravings, definitely try Misal Pav! But honestly, have some room in your belly and some $$ in your wallet so that you can try all the awesome food items offered here!
