Will be flying out of Detroit next Saturday.  Called Customer Service to determine if a reservation is necessary during the busy March travel season.  Representative on the phone rudely snapped that she was "busy."  I was shocked by this response, given that the only way one's travel plans go smoothly is by researching the different options available.  Fortunately, there are plenty of alternatives.

BEWARE EARLY MORNING TRUCK TRAFFIC! Coming from I-94 at 5-6AM, you may find yourself crawling/sitting through multiple lights as tandem trailer trucks spill out in front of you one after the other. Plan an extra 5-10 minutes to get past Wick Rd. That being said, the experience was excellent otherwise - the shuttle was at our car and waiting before we even had our luggage out, and we were at the airport in 10 minutes.  Return trip, walked out of the terminal, and there was a shuttle waiting - was back to our car in 15 minutes and the shuttle drivers wait to make sure your car starts (very much appreciated in the cold!) I drive a large vehicle and the spots were nice and wide.

Pretty good place to park. The new rewards program is nice but only allows redeeming one free day per visit, doesn't make it worth while for business travelers

Safe, secure and very reasonably priced! Shuttle drivers are super friendly and cashiers are pleasant. Highly recommend for all your overnight parking stays for flying out of DTW airport

This place is fabulous for plug in hybrid parking! I routinely park my Chevy Volt here as there are multiple outlets to plug in your EVSE, and my car is commonly fully charged.

All the employees at US Park are very helpful and courteous. They will pick you up from your car within 5 to 10 minutes, and if there is a delay of some sort one of the passing busses will commonly call out and tell you they haven't forgotten about you. 

I commonly return from flights at 1am, and even though it is off peak hours, they are equally courteous. If the bus isn't there within 5 to 10 minutes, you can call and request a bus, and they are on the way 99% of the time. If they aren't they will let you know, and the driver that picks you up will make sure they get you next time. 

They have a rewards program that can commonly get you a free day of parking. They are also helpful to remind you to use this. Checkout times are generally very quick. 

I will continue to use US Park!
