Story

Urban Impact was launched as the first multi-material recycling company in Metro Vancouver. For more than 20 years, we’ve been servicing most key industrial and commercial sectors. We pride ourselves in putting the customer at the center of everything we do.

We believe that changing the way we deal with waste is a necessity. We are also dedicated to minimizing waste in the landfills and protecting our environment.

We were founded on the premise that there was a need for a different kind of recycling company… a recycling company that sets new standards of personal service, cost containment, and customized recycling programs. We strongly value customer service and act on that value by making recycling at work really work. Our recycling process begins with partnering with our customers for the long term.

Today, a team of over 100 employees and a fleet of over 35 recycling trucks provide a comprehensive range of recycling, secure shredding, and waste audit services. Urban Impact services 6,500 locations, from Whistler to Chilliwack. We also serve commercial and multi family customers in the Calgary market.
