Ok...I love this place. The decor was so cute and the service was very friendly. We went around 7 and it wasnt too busy, got a seat right away and the food was SCRUMPTIOUS. I'm going there next time I'm in the park, try the calamari
This is a fantastic place for Greek food! Went there for a quick lunchb with a group of 6 people. The portions are great & the prices are very reasonable. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. They are licensed, which would Jane been great if we didn't all have to return to work. ; I had the spanikopita with 2 sides. Very tasty!! It wasn't too busy for lunch & the service was really great & quick. Great place for a lunch from work if you don't have a lot of time. I'll definitely be back.
Absolutely LOVE this place!!! The food is delicious, and fresh. Hands-down the best Greek food I and my family have had in a long time. Service is always fantastic and friendly. I have gone several times, and will continue to go!! Prices are reasonable, and quality is TOP NOTCH!!
Just checked out this new restaurant. We were reluctant as it replaced an old fave of ours but...it was fabulous! Great decorations! Incredible Greek salad and yes they sell the dressing to take home! Wonderful service, the chef even came to check and see if we liked our food! I was wiggling I liked it so much! The price was reasonable and everything tastes fresh and so flavorful! Kate and I will be back and we’ll bring the boys!
Incredible value for the quality of food they provide. Most of their entrees are priced at less than $14 and would easily cost $25-$30 anywhere else. Ordered their chicken souvlaki entree with baked potatoes and a chickpea salad. Absolutely delicious. They also have a really good selection of Greek beers. Highly recommend this place.
Dinner at Urban Greek. Varied menu with mostly Greek items. Lots to choose from Dinner was exceptional Ingredients were fresh. Entrees were hot and very tasty when served. Staff were most accommodating and very, very friendly. Newly opened in Sherwood Park which was in need of good quality Greek Food. Cost of dinner for two was affordable and not overpriced. I will certainly return to this establishment in the future.
We had supper there a few nights ago and found that the food was not as good as it was last year. Very young girls cooking and they provided poor service. We waited about 15 minutes for hot water to be served .They were standing around the counter 3 of them chatting and carrying on. They never cleared our dishes, we had to wave down one of the girls in the kitchen to bring us boxes and direct us as to how to pay. There was only one other table in the restaurant so very manageable with 5 or 6 people there. I also will note that was not impressed with store bought crinkle cut fries when ordering Greek fries. I would expect something a little more authentic. Ceasar salad had globs of dressing, no bacon anf not a lemon to be found in a greek restaurant. No parmesan and the dressing reflected the taste of mayonnaise. I had this salad a year ago and it was amazing....awful this time. Restaurant also very cold. Hard to enjoy a meal in the ice cold.
Tried Urban Greek for the first time after reading great reviews and it lived up to the expectations. It has a relaxed and casual vibe. The food was quick to be served and tasted great. And the owner is friendly and greets each of the guests. We will definitely be back!
Fantastic fresh made food. Love the open kitchen, it's nice to see the care they put into their dishes. Pits wraps are awesome, rice and salads are really good, tzatziki sauce is addictive, falafels are a touch dry though.
