I had a great experience with Upstate! After being misdiagnosed by another practice I was frustrated and still in pain, so I got a recommendation from a friend to Upstate. Dr. Cannizarro identified the issue in one visit and I was scheduled for surgery. I had an ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair. Everyone in the office was so kind and comforting. I felt completely at ease. Dr. Cannizzaro is very professional and honest about the procedure and expectations. I felt totally cared for. This is my third orthopedic surgery and it was by far my best experience. Nurses and other staff were absolutely amazing! Dr. Cannizzaro called me himself post-op to check on my pain and even gave me his cell for emergencies. The office is so convenient with the surgical suite upstairs and plenty of parking. Highly recommend these guys!

I had a great experience for the first few years going here. Recently, however, that has all changed. They somehow forgot to put in an insurance claim and then brushed me off and wouldn't talk to me for well over a month. Once they finally acknowledged they screwed up I never even got an apology and instead they are making the rest of this process to get my testing done twice as hard saying I have to travel to them 2 hours away to get a test done that can be done where I live. It seems like I'm just getting the run around and now I most likely won't be able to get the surgery that I may need because of how long they are taking.

They are great with kid's my three year old broke his arm and we are still seeing them every two weeks until the cast comes off the waiting time has never been longer then ten minutes for us

Very concerned in your health and efficient! They listen to your concerns especially since I have been to several other doctors trying to figure out what is wrong with me. Highly recommend this place!

They have always been great to me, as well as making sure all issues are addressed as appropriate and listening to me individually instead of trying to rush me out the door and dismiss me as other offices have previously.
