It's clean & it's nice that the enclosed waiting areas have heaters since it was pretty cold out. Trains came on time. Subtracting a point only because it's not yet connected to the nearest subway station, but I hear that's coming soon.
Great UP Express station with a pick up and drop off area a short walk away. Easy and convenient transfers at this station to other transportation means as well. Walking distance to food and shopping areas or bustling streets.
A flawless execution of logistical infrastructure. In a city where traffic latency is a consistent bottleneck, the UP Express offers a predictable 25-minute transit window that is essential for maintaining a high-performance schedule.nThe reliability of the departure intervals is statistically impressive. The onboard environment is optimized for deep work—stable Wi-Fi, power integration at every seat & minimal acoustic interference. It’s not just a train; it’s a mobile workstation that eliminates the variable of road congestion. For anyone who values their time as their most finite asset, this is the only logical way to navigate the Union-Pearson corridor. High ROI on the ticket price for the time recovered.
I take the UP Express every day and I’ve never had an issue with staff—until today. The PRESTO machines weren’t working, and when I asked the staff member for help, she didn’t even look at the kiosk or my card. She immediately told me to use my debit or credit card, which costs more, and her tone was surprisingly rude and dismissive. Not to mention, when other individuals were having issues, instead of politely coming over and letting them know it didn’t work she continuously yelled. As someone who relies on this service daily, I expect basic courtesy and assistance. This was genuinely the worst interaction I’ve had on the UP Express
There is no one at Ellington west to ask questions about what track to go on. First time riders beware. Too many tracks and you think you are on the right track but then your train pulls up and you are on the wrong platform. TTC and UP are not the better way.
