The UP Express is a wonderful amenity for the City of Toronto, however the signage at the Bloor UP station is abysmal. Signage is needed outside on Bloor and Landsdowne. Signage is needed in and around all entrances to this UP location. Signage is needed not only to identify the location, but to provide travellers with directions to the platforms. The lack of signage, along with the desolate feel of the location, is not welcoming, and gives the impression that crime could be committed here. I have missed connections simply because I could not find my way to the correct platform
So quick compared to the old days of trying to get to Pearson. Good value for transfer to a large international airport. Clean and spacious. Good luggage storage and free wifi.
Great location, confusing for those not familiar with the layout. People constantly get confused and have to ask for directions. Better signage would be great, pathway directly to TTC would be amazing as it is a pain to navigate in Winter time. Lots of homeless people at various times of day and lots of garbage in certain areas.
I constantly used Go TRAIN and never went to UP. Today I realized that this is also a very good and fast mode of transport, the movement is quite good, the temperature is good, there are accessible screens where the stops are marked, there are few people and many free seats both on the side and in front and behind, everything is accessible and cleanliness and comfort are the most important things
Poorly designed station. Badly signed. Insufficient elevators. Lots of problems for seniors who need to climb llong stairways to and from the tracks. No directional signage from street entrance to station. Uber drivers get lost trying to find the pickup area. Station is a disgrace and design should never have been approved by the City. Stairways are a hazard waiting to happen. Mayor Chow - Do something useful and fix this station!
