Has parking spots available even if you dont have the local parking number.
I have nothing but praise for this magnificent building, which I consider the most beautiful at UdeM. As an industrial design student, I also find the available workshops excellent; there are woodworking, metalworking, plastics workshops, and more, with technicians always ready to help and encourage you to create the best projects. The only minor point to improve is the cafeteria L'Établie, which doesn't offer a wide variety of choices.
As an international student in the industrial design program, I received no support upon arrival. The director asked me who I was; she didn't know there were exchange programs at her faculty.nnThe professors are unpleasant and disrespectful of our work. I strongly advise French students against coming here if you want to become a good designer with proper training. I regret my exchange because I learned nothing.
For a Faculty of Planning, the building leaves something to be desired; the architecture is ordinary, the cafeteria is tiny. Student life is lousy, and the courses are not up to par with the job market. I wasted four years of my life buried within these concrete walls.
Le cours d'été « Choisir la transition » a largement dépassé mes attentes. La qualité du contenu théorique sur la transition écologique était vraiment appréciable, puis des acteurs variés apportaient des points de vue complémentaires et formateurs.
