This is my third review for this post office. I live in a neighborhood with a mail kiosk with locked boxes. The keys to the package boxes are unreadable. I spent about 10 minutes recently attempting to locate the box my package was in because the hand written magic marker label was unreadable. Please see photo.nSecond review This post office has really changed for the better since I wrote the one star review below a couple of years ago. Newer employees are so nice and helpful and I have had no issues with packages in quite a while. The post office seems much more organized and the people working there are very efficient and competent.nnOriginal review: Nearly every time I pick up a package at this post office, I am handed the wrong package. They base pickups on street numbers, instead of names. How hard is it to check both the street number and the name of the person on the delivery slip? Someone at this post office once told me that it is such an unorganized mess that it is very hard to find packages. For that reason, people have to wait much longer than necessary to take care of business at this post office.nnThe attitudes of the workers at this post office are horrible. The postal workers seem so unhappy for reason. This post office has not expanded the building to service everyone in the area and to allow for enough room to organize packages efficiently.nnSomething must be done to improve and expand this post office.
I absolutely dread having to go here, it ruins your day every single time.nFrom missing packages, unknowledgeable and unprofessional staff, and their hours not being community-minded.
Someone wrote a review saying that service got better - wow - was that bad. Ok, so they don't open to public on Saturdays, they close for a full hour at lunch time - talk about public service - NOT. Packages get lost, because they don't scan on shipping unless requested - uh??. Then They want money from Amazon delivery, but want to act as USPS, by not going to home address and after hours like other carriers do. It is pretty mind boggling, that Crooked River Ranch, has more households than Terrebonne proper, thus likely the reason they can have more employees, but then provide low tier service. Why? Fired 75% of them, and have a Post office for the ranch only with people that actually want to work and provide a public service. Where is DOGE? For sure my tax payer money is being wasted here. This probably the worst Post Office I have encountered, and I have been in multiple sates and cities.nplus this their delivery people - the one's that place the mail in the CRR mailboxes, are always a bit unpolite and rude - seems that indeed they don't like the work they get paid to do. I say HI, and never get a reply back. In the post office itself, they are nice....but that does not help in the end
If you have a large parcel to pick up, and you work during the week, good luck ever being able to get it. They close at 4:30 and are closed on Saturday. I've had things held that were more than small enough to put in a locker, probably because the lockers were full, but couldn't they put it in one the next day? Come on, man. Why make it difficult for people to get their stuff?
DO NOT USE. They received our Christmas packages and didn’t call to let us know they had them until end of April. Do not get a PO Box with them either - they have returned our mail repeatedly and shared our mailing address with numerous people, who should not have our address. Additionally, they continue to deliver previous owners mail to our house, even with it being listed not to do so in our mailbox.
