A little bit more about us...
We are a vibrant, Apostolic church that gathers together every week to worship in spirit and in truth. We are a Bible believing church in both word and deed. We strive to discover the truths, tenants and principles of the Word of God and put them into practice in our community. We are enthusiastic about working in the Kingdom of God and have built our church on the doctrines of the prophets and the apostles, with Jesus Christ being the chief corner stone.
We believe the Holy Bible is God’s true and complete Word to humanity. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21).
We believe there is one God, the eternal, holy, loving, all knowing, all-powerful, omnipresent Spirit, creator of all. (Deuteronomy 6:4; 1 Timothy 1:17; Leviticus 19:2; 1 John 4:8; Hebrews 4:13; Revelation 19:6; Jeremiah 23:24; John 4:24; Colossians 1:16) He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit).
We believe in the great commission and are endeavoring to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy and compassion
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Through baptism we identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11-14; Acts 2:38).
We believe Jesus rose from the dead by the power of God and now offers eternal life to all who will receive His gift by faith (John 3:14-15; Romans 6:23b; Ephesians 2:4-5, 8-9). We demonstrate our faith and obedience to Him through repentance, (turning away from our sinful lifestyle); baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins; and receiving the gift of His Holy Spirit, which gives us the power to live a holy, godly life, sharing the good news of our “new birth” with others. (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; 1 Peter 1:23).
We believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He ministers to His people through them. (Mark 16:15-18; Acts 5:16; 2Corinthians 12:1-11).
We believe that Jesus will soon return to Earth to receive His people to Himself and establish His righteous, eternal kingdom. (John 14:3; Matthew 25:34).
