Went to send wire transfer, provided them a sheet with beneficiary, account number, branch number, institution number. Took 55 mins, and was wrong beneficiary name on wire, didn’t match the page I gave them. They gave me a form “Request for Funds Transfer” to sign showing the wrong info. I pointed out the mistakes, manager told me “it’s already been sent, sorry”. Prior to my authorization, prior to my reviewing the info. Seems like an odd practice, to send the money prior to authorization being signed. I checked my account, it’s true it was already gone. Hopefully it goes to the right place.
