I have been going here since I was a child the place itself may seem run down, but the food is amazing! I’d recommend the chicken ball with homemade “red sauce” chicken fried rice and the Singapore noodle. The owners are lovely hard working people that have put all there hard work into there delicious food!Food: 5/5
Dinner combo 2, Fried Rice with Chicken Balls and Chow Mein. The food ended up being good and fresh, thankfully, as the reviews made me 100% skeptical. My issue is there was probably 5 spoons of rice and it felt like I paid almost $12 for a lunch size bc of that. I really like fried rice so that was disappointing. Usually rice is the one thing Chinese restaurants dish out heavily. Not sure if I will go back based on value but I am happy everything was tasty.
If you are looking for tasty and authentic Chinese food then you have come to the right place! The food was so flavorful, fast and reasonable price. My family has been coming here for ages until we stop coming to Wasaga beach for more than 10 years. As soon as we walked in the owners recognized us right away and we glad that the taste and quality of food are the same! Sooo yummy!! We were so hungry and the food was good that we forgot to take a picture.
Not sure why I have waited so long to make a review but here I am! You know what they say, don’t judge a book by its cover; the same applies here! My family has been ordering takeout from Uncle Ming’s since we moved here in 2007 highly recommend dinner for 4, and we flat out refuse to get Chinese food from anywhere else. So so tasty and the owners are super friendly! The only issue we’ve ever had is an item was forgotten; we called to let them know and they personally drove to our house to drop off the missing item! Love this place for Chinese takeout and will recommend them until the end of time!
After years of driving by we decided to try their food. Threw away good money we ordered a lot of food Both my husband and I threw our wonton soup in the garbage. Horrible! How can wonton soup taste so bad? Ribs were dry and cold. No taste, no sauce. Beef and green pepper was all green pepper and maybe 2oz of beef. Deep fried shrimp were good as well as the chicken balls. Chicken fried rice was just that-rice with some chicken, nothing else. Lo Mein was over cooked. Will continue to just drive by in the future.
Don’t be fooled by the lazy white people on vacation giving poor reviews on delivery. This place, however old it looks, is a long time treasure in the neighborhood. I’ve eaten here since I was 5. Great food and great service.
I love this place! Uncle Ming is very kind gentleman who has a passion for CanChina food. I don't know what else to call it, it's everything I like that they probably don't actually have in China ha ha Ha. Great Price ... Clean, friendly, local business been here since 1997. Inconsistent food quality. The first time we ordered the food was very good. The second time we ordered we were shocked with our meal. The food was very greasy. Although we didn't order any fish the food had a strong fishy smell and a sour aftertaste. We felt nauseas after. I had to throw much of it out. Hence this scathing review.
Just moved to the area and real glad I chose this place I'm done looking they have a costumer as long as I live around. The chicken fried rice had lots of flavor and the beef from beef and broccoli was legit amazing. Definitely recommened.
We have ordered from Uncle Ming’s for years. They have the best Chinese food in all the surrounding area. The owner is extremely friendly and you feel welcomed when you enter. These negative reviews do not make any sense whatsoever. I crave their food and will probably have some tonight!
