Uncle Harry's Fish And Chips

I love this little mom and pop shop. The staff here are so welcoming and friendly but most importantly, the food here is awesome and reasonably priced. You definitely need to get their fish and chips. Everything is fresh and made to order. the halibut I had was thick and perfectly cooked with a thin light coating of batter; not greasy at all which is always my no.1 concern with fish and chips but they nail it every time. I've had their breakfast before as well. really good pancakes. The nautical theme of the decor is a nice touch. Highly recommended

Great place and great food. I lived in England for 5 years and missed fish and chips very much. Can’t believe this fish and chip is so so so delicious and even better than in England. Nice people always with smiles, definitely recommend to go there.

For a 10% discount, tell them you were recommended by the Chinese person who lives near Kennedy Subway : Extremely friendly couple runs the business. Food is inexpensive, can be prepared however you wish, and is fresh and never precooked. Also the only place around town that offers FISH POUTINE!

Bad! Bad! Bad! The fish & chip was 1 fish used is thinner than a pancake, 2 the dimension is smaller than a wonder bread slice, 3 My wife got diarrhea right after earring it. The fish & chip was served in a Styrofoam box. There was no wax or butcher paper for underline the food. I was really worry that the hot fish and chips would touch the Styrofoam and melt it. I think the owner changed hand recently. For your health and safety reason, I would highly suggest you to stay away from them.

Very nice fish and chips! The fish wasn't too greasy, and the gravy is yummy as well. Best of all, they deliver! Even on Christmas Eve! Highly recommended!

Avoid this place at all costs! I waited 1 hour for my fish and chips. The fish was overcooked, hard, rubbery and dry and the fries were really overcooked and burnt! Never going to this place again! Simply awful!

Very delicious food. Owner is an oriental lady. She is very friendly. Another lady is from Newfoundland. She is very friendly with wonderful personality. I love that place.
