Uncle Archie’s Grill

Amazing gem located in Oshawa. If you are passing through or haven’t tried, you need too! It’s a family run business that takes pride in what they do. The portion sizes are plentiful and you will not be disappointed. My go too is the Gyro Pita and Greek Salad. My son really enjoyed their kid’s chicken fingers dinner. Their fries and poutine are top notch for as well. I also can’t forget to mention the in house made coconut cream pie!! Just pop by, support a local family run business and fill your belly with their amazing food!

We ordered from Uncle Archie’s on Saturday evening and the food was amazing. We were craving Greek food and Uncle Archie’s nailed it, the best Greek food in Durham by far. We ordered the souvlaki and gyros dinner combo, it was huge and so good! And very reasonably priced. We ate for two days. It included a delicious large Greek salad, garlic bread, sliced succulent pieces of melt in your mouth gyros piled high in its own container, soft and tender chunks of chicken souvlaki with savoury yellow rice and moist lemon potatoes with a side of tzatziki sauce. All of this food for under $25 and fed two people with leftovers. Uncle Archies’s is a Durham gem and highly recommend trying this restaurant.

This place is a gem and I’m so glad to have found it. Great service and fantastic food with huge portions! Mac and Cheese with Bacon & The Canadian hamburger with peameal bacon, aged cheddar, and fried egg. They serve fresh cut fries, which I love. I also ordered a chocolate milkshake which was a good size and thick, yummy! Others in my party ordered the gyros and Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich, both were good.

We were starving and cranky. Ready to eat anything. So we were so pleasantly surprised by the start-from-scratch homemade burger and outstanding and generously-portioned Greek chicken wrap. should only have eaten one half but it was too good not to devour the whole thing. Delicious food in this simple, family-run little place! Will definitely make a point of stopping by again!

Lets just say, I am happy I wore stretchy pants today!!! I got the chili burger with an extra patty and onion rings. The onion rings were nice and crispy, the onions didn't really fall out of them easily like most onion rings. I definitely did not need 20 oz of beef, but I loved every minute of it! The chili has mushrooms in it for those cautious of that vegetable, but everything was great!

Very fresh and huge portions. They pack everything with care too! Not open for inside dining yet so only did pickup. It was my first time and went there on the recommendation of a friend. Ordered the mother clucker combo. This thing is huge, very fresh and tasty. You can tell they take pride in what they do!

Eaten there 2 weeks in a row and I already wish I lived closer. These folks are great in serving, cooking, baking. Good family eatery. Try it! You'll be back. The burgers and Philly cheese steak were delicious. The fries and onion rings and cole slaw...the best.!

I had the mother of all chicken sandwiches... wow what a wonderful meal. taste was great and the side salad was like my mom had made it ... i will be BACK ... cant wait to try the other items on the menu... oshawa is lucky to have this place...i never tock a pic of my sandwick but i did take a pic of my son's burger and he loved it...‍

When I say this is the BEST burger I've ever had I mean it. I'm addicted and everyone I've told has gone and felt the same. The food is soooo good, Homemade and the people are so kind. Please if you're driving by just stop in and try a burger or poutine, or fries.

Mike and Heather do an amazing job... my favorite is breakfast, always consistent. Everything I've had here is good, from burgers to salads to Greek food.
