Ukrainian Restaurant
"Ukrainian Restaurant is pleased to present an authentic Ukrainian food experience. Mrs. Pearl Hawrylak born in West Ukraine was the founder and proprietor of the restaurant from 1929 to 1967. Shortly thereafter, Anna Momcilovic purchased the restaurant in 1968 and has been there to the present day. The restaurant has been opened close to a century. Anna has incorporated recipies from the Ukraine and other Slavic cultures to provide the same home cooking which she has served her own family for decades."

Lovely place. The owner is very kind and makes sure everyone is enjoying their meal. The food is delicious. The restaurant does not get many customers, so it is quiet. Parking: No parking for the establishment, but you can park on the street
The Ukranian Restaurant was a very positive experience. It is an important note that they only accept cash the owner accepted our American dollars. The restaurant is quaint. We almost missed it as it’s in a residential area. Cabbage rolls were ok, borsch tasted good, but the pierogi—- best I’ve ever had!!!
I really wanted to like this place more. Very cool backstory, but the by the end it was hard to finish the food. Perogis were good, but the beef stew was not enjoyable, left about half of it behind. Really nice lady, but just not the best food.
Probably one of the most slept on restaurants in Windsor. Authentic Ukrainian food from an authentic babushka. The home cooked food will touch the deepest part of your soul. I wish I lived in Canada because I could easily see myself coming here daily.Food: 5/5
First time at the restaurant, I ordered 2 orders of beef stew. I must say the lady was super sweet, the food was very cheaply priced and super good. We're can you get 2 home cooked meals for under 25$ anymore. I will be a frequent customer! Highly recommend.
The food and service here is incredible and the prices for a home made meal can't be beat. The cabbage rolls are some of the best I've ever had! The atmosphere is a bit dated but is still quaint and reflects the history of the restaurant well.Food: 5/5
Anna’s the sweetest and we love her so much. My grandpa used to take us grandkids all the time, so the pierogies remind me of home
As soon as yu walk in the restaurant you can smell the food cooking. Food is home cooked by a Ukrainian lady who hasn't aged over the years that we have been going. The food is delicious. Just like home the meal is never the same, just good.
The go to stop for Ukrainian soul food in Windsor, Ontario. We loved the cabbage rolls and perogies ! The owner was so generous she gave us more food than what we ordered. Thanks Anna!Food: 5/5
Best pierogi I’ve ever had! Borscht was going good, bread was delicious, even the butter was top notch!! Very friendly service! Cash only but she takes American dollars.
