Terrible and annoying business. They ruin this neighborhood parking their ugly vans in residential parking. Will contact city to make complaint and have them all ticketed. Also- so slow.
I drove from Stamford and the drop off location is this cute neighborhood dealer. It was really smooth. Staff is friendly and helpful. I would come back to get a uhaul for my next move.
Awful experience - don't go anywhere near this "place"! No signage, no lot, no indication of what to do. Apparently you're supposed to park the U-Haul on the street anywhere you can and then check-in via the app, then drop the keys in an unmarked dropbox, which I found out after driving around for an hour and spending 30 minutes on hold trying to find an actual human. Would it really be that difficult to put the instructions in the confirmation?
No signage to know where the shop is, no indication of where to go for pick up. Called all day prior to pick up, left messages, wasn’t able to get in touch with anyone. I got there and had to call neighboring U-hail locations to last minute transfer my reservation and was lucky enough that someone still have a vehicle available. Very disappointed.
Extremely shady, unprofessional made a reservation they didn’t have my truck gave me a small one and had to talk to customer service to get a refund then charge me $200 for cleaning fee for beat up truck plus they add more miles then i drive claiming I made over 100 miles which was bull.. luckily I took picture, they change location last minute, after hour late fee $20 Plus other fee I’ll fight it to the max and close my account to not give them any money. BA AWARE OF SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES
Extremely chill and easy rental establishment. Staff is awesome and helpful. They seem to have a lot of vehicles at this location if you're concerned your Uhaul won't be available at the time of your move which is what happened to me at Leonard St.
Very unprofessional staff , overcharging costumers with gas fees and instead to fix the problems they send costumers to rent trucks somewhere else …disappointing way to handle business….
We are repeat customers here, and, it's weird to say this about a Uhaul location, but we look forward to our next time. This is a family run operation and they are as nice as they are efficient. High marks for great service, and making the normally unpleasant task of renting trucks & moving a lot less painful. Many thanks.
Horrible dealership. Placed a reservation on U-Haul a few days before our move in, never received a call to confirm even though on U-Haul it said they would call. Tried calling the phone number twice with no response. Showed up the day of early in the morning, couldn’t find any parking in the area and they don’t have any on site parking so we circled for over half an hour. When we finally got there, they gave away our reservation without letting us know and had no other vehicles left. They were not helpful or understanding that we rely on them for our move. Completely ruined our moving day and would not recommend to anyone. Go to a real U-Haul store.
This place made my move a nightmare that I could write pages about. I reserved a truck which was a month long back and forth process that was also crazy, then when I arrived they didn’t have it and simply said “sorry I see your reservation but have no truck for you” and moved on to the next customer. I was stuck on the side of the road for hours in the rain while my friends waited with all our furniture outside. Combined, there’s no exaggeration that I spent 3-4 hours through out the day with customer support reps, none of which helped. I felt bad for the kid running it as it wasn’t his fault, but corporates. I dug into friends that have used this location and had similar awful experiences. Even if this is your absolute last resort, I still would never recommend this awful company.
