The Giant Toonie was a must on my bucket list ever since I've learned about it. The monument is located in a peaceful park on the shores of the Trent River. The whole place exudes tranquility. Plenty of benches and picnic tables in the park. The park seems to be well groomed. One coin left to add to my collection!
We purposely went to see this giant toonie when we went for our fall drive to Northumberland County. This is a nice place to go and have a picnic. It was in a small park by the water. Not too many people there when we went.
Main purpose was to see this monument. Very cool. Wish I had visited earlier in the day as most places in the town had already closed for the day.
It is a giant toonie. Worth a visit if you are in the area. The river alongside is a nice place to sit with pretty colours
A must stop monument if you are driving by! Beautiful in all seasons! This is a 27 ft tall statue of the toonie in honor of the TOoNIE artist who is from Campbellford!
The Giant Toonie is in a beautiful, quaint park with great views of the Trent River. You can add this attraction to The Big Nickel Sudbury and the Loon Dollar Monument Echo Bay!
Nice place to go if you’re in the area! The Giant Toonie is a great find and definitely took a lot of selfies with it.
Took a road trip down to see the Big Toonie. It was sounds better than the experience. If you are looking for something to do and to support locally, venture here to have a look at this landmark. Stay for the food and enjoy the nearby trails. Parking is available on the side street.
Awesome place to visit a huge toonie!! It’s in a strip of grass in between a busy road and a waterway. It’s not busy at all with plenty of time to take pictures. Worth the visit for sure!!
