We had the extraordinary pleasure of staying with Cynthia for a night while visiting family in Markdale the week before Christmas.nnWe could not have been more pleasantly surprised. From the moment we walked through the door we knew that we were in a very special place.nnCynthia greeted us warmly, insisted we keep our boots, on then walked us up stairs to our room. We were awestruck. The room was beautiful, warm and inviting. Then we saw the bathroom. Absolutely gorgeous. We could not have been more thrilled.nnWhen we returned downstairs Cynthia showed us her sitting/dining room where breakfast would be served at our convenience, gave us the entry code and said come back as late as we liked.nnIt only got better the next morning. When we come down for breakfast the table was set with a lovely spread of fruit & yogurt, meats & cheeses, hard boiled eggs, local bread & jams plus a terrific coffee machine that made a perfect latte. We brought our own Bailey's...lolnnWe couldn't imagine a better place to stay except with family.
I look for every excuse possible to go to Markdale so I can stay at The Two Sisters Inn!! We are totally pampered from the moment we step in the door! It’s impossible to have a favourite room as they are all so unique and inviting. Cynthia is the most gracious hostess and leaves no detail unattended to. I’d give it 10 stars if I could
My husband and I stayed here on our first anniversary little getaway. I stumbled upon the Two Sisters Inn while looking at places to stay bear Owen sound. The home itself has so much character! Cynthia greeted us at the door and was super kind, showed us the common spaces and our room. We chose to stay in the loft and I'm so glad we did. We had our own private balcony. The room had a king bed, ensuite with walk in shower. The soaps were amazing and left our skin feeling so soft after our shower. The cordless essential oil diffuser was such a great touch, it smelt so nice in our room. A great touch was a tv with Netflix and Disney+ free of charge! Cynthia helped us with some awesome restaurant recommendations. The breakfast was delicious with muffins, scones, fresh cut fruit, and lots of snacks and coffee + tea. I loved the fresh juice as well. We went hiking at the Indian falls + Inglis Falls and it was a short drive to Owen sound about 25 minutes. We will definitely stay here again when we are back to do more hiking. Thank you Cynthia for a memorable getaway!!!
Beautiful Queen bedroom with large walk in shower especially loved after walking parts of the Bruce trail. Various sitting rooms/areas for enjoying, a glass of wine in front of a fire inside and out if you wish; or the delicious breakfast of fresh croissants, muffins, fruit salad, meats and cheeses, juices etc. Always a basket of snacks available through the day. Our Host Cynthia was a doll, so kind. You can tell she really enjoys what she does and the people she welcomes to her B&B.
Two Sisters was exceptional!nThe loft was a cool space, king size bed great, en suite washroom with walk-in shower great. Breakfast was beyond belief with a huge assortment of items sourced locally. The hostess Cynthia was cheery and helpful providing a great atmosphere.
