Honestly, this park is pretty gross. Definitely not what it used to be. The last time I went there with a group to swim, the swimming area had trash everywhere. The water was very murky...I wasn't comfortable with myself or my child swimming there (there have been drownings there in the past).
About 2 months ago, I visited the other side of the park. That side appeared to be cleaner and more maintained than the swimming area. However, the bathroom was disgusting...filthy, no doors.
There are definitely better parks in the area. Would not recommend.

Just visited with my family and had a lot of fun. I wish there was less trash throughout the park and in the water. There were also a LOT of flies around while we were eating. Not sure what could be done about that. We had some kayaks and canoes which were great in the calm waters here. The smaller kids also had a lot of fun in swimming area. Just remind the kids not to drink river water. I caught our son gulping some water and he was vomiting for the next 24 hours. Not pleasant!

This place was outstanding! Clean, well maintained, quiet. Showers and toilets were a little dated, but that doesn't bother me. Laundry room was clean, machines worked well. The best part is that they had... Wait for it... Wifi! We've done a couple cross country road trips, and even though wifi is always advertised, there have been a select few, typically slow connection. Great place, friendly staff, knowledgeable about the area.

Great disc golfing spot 21 holes a few par 4's and some 800ft-1,000ft holes as well making it both easy and technical.
