Best burger in st.paul hand made from the happiest organic beef and the crispiest chicken sandwich I ever had, topped with bacon and coleslaw adding to the crispness. I highly recommend this place and I will be back. Clean tables and floors, friendly professional accommodating staff.Food: 5/5
What a wonderful surprise! I always lower my expectations when dining in small towns, but it appears that’s not necessary in St. Paul. Granted, the decor would benefit from some professional help so long as the local art is retained. But the food is top notch. Very interesting menu and, if the fish taco I ordered see below is any indication, it’s all very tasty. Wish I were staying longer so I could sample a few more dishes!
One of my favorite restaurants in the Lakeland area! You could just close your eyes and point to something on the menu --it's going to be tasty. There's a focus on using fresh, local ingredients from area producers and suppliers, and there's always a new and interesting feature plate and drink. It's fun to check out the local artwork while waiting for your meal too.
The food was really good. Service was a bit slow as our waitress was underage so she was unable to bring out drinks quickly. We were there for 2.5 hours, and I was told they what not serve me more then 6 ounces of booze. I found this rather silly considering the amount of time we were there, but understandable. They also stayed open till 830 for us to accommodate our business meeting which was extremely nice of them. Would visit here again in the future, but just for a quick dinner.
Twisted Fork is by far our favourite restaurant in the Lakeland area. Every time we visit, the food and the service are fantastic. The menu changes seasonally and there are daily specials so there is always something new and delicious to look forward to, as well as old favourites! We are looking forward to having our wedding catered by Debra and her team, we know with 100% certainty that they will do an amazing job. We highly recommend dining here!
Excellent restaurant, the Mrs & I were in town for appointment. We asked for good Restaurant, the Twisted Fork was offered. We walked in and were treated as true guests, the greeter and server were true Profesionals, kind & courteous. We didn't need for anything, the server tended our request, with a smile. The food was that of a fine dining restaurant. The Mrs & I asked that they complement the kitchen for awesome dish. The faucility had great abeyance modern tapistry by local artists. Lastly the greeted us, asked where we had traveled from? She explained that some of their wears could be purchased in Cold Lake at Rustic Truck. Should we be in St Paul again we will stop in again. Thank you for an excellent experience. Curt & Sal
Went on for dinner place is a little hard to spot but definitely worh the look if you like the small craft exsperiance i orderd the wings and the 3.0 burger with hot cider on the side. The wings are nice and crispy not oily very nice. Really enjoyed the hot cider came with a cinnamon stick just added a little touch you don't regularly get other places. The 3.0 burger as presented looked like a home back yard BBQ burger and isn't that truly what we all really want! The toppings are nice and fresh crispy lettuce hand-cut pickles and a Patty that looks like it actually is made from meat it came with a 3 cheese blend melted perfectly on top that just made this stand out has something somebody took some time to make. If you're traveling through St Paul I highly recommend stopping in for lunch or dinner.
This was an amazing restaurant! I already can't wait to go back. As fate would have it, we were in town on work and found this gem hidden among all the fast food chains. Local ingredients sourced with care except for the seafood, obviously, we are in landlocked Alberta after all and prepared in a unique manner. Everything was delicious and generously portioned. We had the fortune of being there on seafood night. I had the pickled fish burger with coleslaw and Cajun seasoning. The sweet potato fries were cooked to crispy perfection and the house sauce was on pointe to enhance their sweetness. The freshly squeezed lemonade was cool and crisp, not too acidic. I also tried the mixed berry lemonade with added vodka from nearby Cold Lake distillery. It did not disappoint, a perfect flavor for a sunny day on the prairies. To finish an exquisite creme brule. The staff were warm and friendly, knowledgable and authentic. The atmosphere was inviting and familiar, with a clear view of the kitchen, chef and food preperation area. The dining area also doubles as a gallery for local artists. Best to make reservations. Closed Mondays The locals know this is a hot spot and I wouldn't be surprised if people make the long drive from surrounding communities just for the gourmet experience happening at the Twisted Fork.
Met with freinds for a meal ...service and food was really good...would highly recommend trying this place ..
I will say I haven't been there since pre COVID and lockdowns but prior to that service was always amazing. Food was different but like amazingly unique. We loved the pulled pork/chicken it would change back and forth mac n'cheese - we would get that quite often for take out and it was always delicious. I'd definitely recommend.Food: 5/5
