We are never disappointed with our stay at Twin Lakes. Due to Covid we have not been able to visit until this year. The facilities are always well taken care. Clean, neat and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. Golf course is in great shape. This park will always be includes in my top five parks to stay at. 5 stars or better.
Love Twin Lakes! Great layout with beautiful scenery and wildlife. Staff are outstanding; friendly and accommodating. We love our annual trip to the Okanagan for many reasons, and Twin Lakes is very high on that list.
We played in 38 degree heat, It was so hot they closed the course just after we teed off! That didn’t stop us! Now if you haven’t golfed here before it’s a lush green course with some wide and some narrow fairways, there is ease of play but it also as challenging drops like off the first tee and 10th! We finished our 18 holes being the only ones playing the course by the end, it was totally with it! We look forward to playing here again. We were so very grateful for the water and ice the course supplied that day! It saved us.
Beautiful well maintained golf course in a beautiful setting. Scenery and golf. Challenging course and very well maintained. Will definitely play again and again.
Challenging course layout, the course was in excellent shape even with the punched and sanded greens. Very pleasant staff in both the pro-shop and the concession stand. The price was reasonable and very good value for the money. Definitely will golf there again on our next trip
Second time golfing here this year. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The course is in really nice condition and the greens run faster than what I accustomed to. Pace of play was good with us 3 finishing in 4 hours. I’ll be back here a few more times this season.
Enjoyed our stay and round of golf. Friendly and helpful staff at the RV park and the golf course. Nice course, but we brought our dog our with us and there was no water for him on a very hot day. Also would have been nice if the RV park had mentioned their permanent boil water advisory when we booked. We would have filled our RV tank if we had known. Good deal for the breakfast sandwiches at the pro shop diner.
I am only able to play 9 holes so this gem of a community golf course is just right for me. From the pro shop check in staff, the electric cart assistant to the grounds greens staff… all were so friendly and kind. They made us feel welcome and helped any way they could. Cindy and Dave at the campground work very hard to keep the sites, grounds and washrooms clean and well kept. We So appreciate Dave accompanies each RV to their campsite spot to get them situated safely and in a good position. Sadly, the only thing that we find challenging and negative during our camping/golfing stays are the number of dogs and the ongoing barking that some owners allow. Dogs are often left in RVs with AC on and owner go away to golf or leave the campground. It’s really annoying when you’re on holiday and have to listen to them bark and the owners do nothing or they aren’t even at their camp site. Perhaps the campground can look at a policy for this. Water here is not potable so come prepared. Water pressure is low during the day time due to watering but at night showers work well and are very clean. Great WIFI. Thank you team members at Twin Lakes Golf and RV !
Nice golf course! I see they shortened the hole that runs along the hiway which I am sure saves a number of wayward tee shots out onto the pavement
I found a discount and paid 49 with cart for this 18 hole course. I read through the reviews over the last few years and noticed lawn keep seemed to be an issue. I saw some positive posts more recently which peaked my interest in going. Overall I'm not too pleased with this course. I did enjoy the difficulty of layout and longer holes than average, but the green damage makes it impossible to have consistent putts. I went during hot weather and noticed they had sprinklers on during the three hours we were there. 11:15 until 2:30 They weren't too invasive, but some were hitting fairways and bunkers. of course where my ball landed They are struggling with the greens a bit. See photo attached. Quite a few greens with dead spots or aggressive damage. Staff is not a fan of you driving on fairways at all. My assumption is because they're trying to minimize fairway wear and tear, so be prepared to walk more than expected. They advertise a driving range, but it is a tee off with net only. Net is 15 feet away from tee offs. See photo attached as well. They have food in house which is decent. Prices are fair as well. Overall with the discount I paid, I enjoyed the round, but I'd never pay full price for this course unless the greens had better maintenance. Fairways are relatively forgiving, except for the odd few. It would be a very nice course to play if my ball didn't roll over bumps and grooves on the greens. Seems that there is also lack of communication in some regards to course holes and regulations. Hole 7 has been reduced without notification. States par 4, but is actually a par 3 of 170 yards. Carts are to be parked north of parking lot instead of back at club house cart maintenance had to mention where to park after going to club house paths and layout get a bit confusing as they've changed layout without making new signs or editing score card. It's easy to take a wrong path if you're not looking for a team ahead of you on the next tee. **Update** - July 11, 2021. Had a fantastic conversation about my experience here after returning home from the weekend. Kate, the general manager and coordinator of Twin Lakes is an absolute pleasure and truly cares about taking care of the course and the people who golf here. She didn't even hesitate to make sure she followed up with my experience and after learning a lot about the course and it's conditions, I will definitely be revisiting the course next time I get a chance. The timing of my visit was after a serious hear wave which contributed to some of the issues mentioned above. I look forward to revisiting during better climate conditions to see some improvement!
