A beautiful and certainly unique cemetery. Unique because the management seems to allow people to remember, respect, and pay homage to their loved ones however they wish. What do I mean by this? I mean, in those large franchise-type cemeteries they have covenants like no fake flowers allowed, or you can't even leave flowers unless you pay $150 for a built in brass vase or, oh, all kinds of petty no-nos. Not here. This cemetery is for people who want a place to remember and share their feelings for those who've gone before us. Loved ones have created truly personal memorials for their families and friends. Sweet gestures and personal touches will have you either in tears or smiling at all the ways people can show how a soul lives on in the hearts of those who remember them. The location is on a small hill, one parameter framed by forest, another part by the road, and the rest is next to homes. Death is a part of life, and this location celebrates that we all have this journey. What a soulful, emotional and unpretentious place, a reminder of real people who lived among us, whose hands we touched, and whose warmth we feel again as we stand or sob next to their graves.
