This is a great place to relax in the shade, be by yourself, with a group, attend live music events, play on the playground, let your kids play on the playground, etc. It's a very multifunctional park. Be warned, however, because it is so readily available, and useable, it oftentimes IS being used for large gatherings, fair-style expos, celebrations, you name it. The grass is typical park grass, probably a Kentucky Bluegrass blend, and the trees are mostly large and mature, including spruce, elm, locust, and ash. If you have severe allergies to any of these types of plants, I suggest visiting the large public library next door to the park.

Great park and pretty clean. Wish the parallel parking spots were marked to make parking during the many events here more efficient.

Nice quite spot to hang out, playground and misc events like car shows, fairs and local concerts

Shady, Sidewalks, benches and a Stage/Amphitheater. Kids love the park and across from the library is a plus.
