Was in the area and decided to try the new Tut’s. I’ve had it before downtown and it is pretty good. I like the bread, it’s very soft and chewy. The meat and sauce choices they use are very good. I also really enjoy the packing, it’s actually a really nice packaging. The bad’s I would have to say are the fries and the price. It is super expensive for fast food. Just something to keep in mind.
Ordered the kaftan, liver, Falfel and the chicken my favorite 2 were the falafel and the chicken. I also got the halwa sandwich I think it would be better if it wasn't toasted. Wonderful service the guy who works there didn't hesitate to explain.
I got the beef sausage and the chicken sandwich in the Tut meal. They were both delicious, the chicken was a bit messy to eat. The beef sausage was juicy and had great flavour. The fries are tasty and spicy. I took a star off cause I ordered an extra garlic sauce which they did not include in my order. But overall, would definitely go back.
Love the taste! The place is more intended for take away and delivery service. There are benches inside but I think it's more for people to wait while the food being prepared. My experience was pretty fast and everything was cooked well. Thank you for the nice service! Vegetarian options: They have some vegan options like cauliflower and falafel. Parking: Plenty of parking in the area.
Haven’t had Egyptian food before but if it taste as good as these sandwiches I want it all day, everyday! The fries has this spice that sooo flavoured and the chicken sandwich with the garlic is just so good. We came back 2 days in a row!
I've already eaten at this brand every now and then, but Ibrahim, my server and chef during my visit, made Tut's an unforgettable experience. Tut's Street Food is as warm as it can be crispy, soft, and heartwarming. But the customer service made me feel like this order was going to be extra special, and it was. Ibrahim set my expectations high with how he delivered my food quickly, took extra care into making sure it looked accurate to the photos and was willing to give his own recommendation just so I could have an even better experience with the food. If I have the opportunity I definitely will be dining in, knowing that I'll be welcomed by the employees wholeheartedly. : The food reflects the workers, and it's all love from when I went. There's something about Tut's fries that make them so perfectly seasoned, and it's so soft with just enough crunch if you have them fresh! Ibrahim recommended the garlic dip to go with the fries, which was perfect. The portion sizes for each sandwich is portion friendly, especially if you don't particularly like having leftovers after you eat! Overall, if you're looking for a place that puts a lot of love into its food, this location is perfect! The wait time without any customers there is usually about 5 - 7 minutes which blew me away. It only put more trust into my server that it was going to be good : Vegetarian options: Their vegetarian options include falafel my personal favourite, fried cauliflower, and potatoes. Parking: There's a lot of parking space during the evening hours and typically the afternoon on weekdays!
Disgusting! After I took the first bite of the sandwich looks like a piece of steel wire stuck in the food. Also gave me the wrong order, I orders friend chicken, Grilled Chicken, Falafel and beef sausage I did not get grilled chicken, instead I think I got a some sort of beef sandwich. I notice that there’s only 1 staff working, which that’s fine, but after the girl took my order she went straight to the kitchen and starts to preparing the food without washing her hands.
Service was really nice and quick! Food was fresh, warm, and very filling! Tried the Ferakh grilled chicken, Soguk grilled sausage, Kofta grilled beef. Grilled chicken sandwich was the best out of all three. Fries were tasty and crisp. The box is perfect for takeout. Great spot for lunch.
We decided to try Egyptian street food on a whim one night and overall we liked the food but didn't love the restaurant or the service. There is no where to eat-in, so everyone is take-out, which can lead to soggy bread for your sandwiches or soggy fries when you get home. When we went, it was a slow night. The person who took our order and made the food was fine, but not particularly energetic or talkative. We tried to ask some questions about Egyptian food it was our first time, ever but we didn't feel like there was a lot of interest or enthusiasm. We got an assortment of sandwiches with fries and we were very impressed with the flavours of everything. The beef with the mint sauce was really good, as was the crispy chicken sandwich. The fires have an interesting and good seasoning on them and they were good. I got some Egyptian pickles and enjoyed them as well. I would say that the portion size for the price seems be to be a bit on the light side for everything. Overall, we liked the food and will probably try it again to see if we still feel the same way about the value and the service aspect of the restaurant. If neither of those thing are important to you, the food was good and stands on its own.
Excellent customer service and clean restaurant. Food is good, especially loved the kebda sandwich, also order the Soguk in the combo. Fries were good. Soguk sandwich was ok, the mustard overtook the flavor of the meat. The prices posted apparently will go up from $4.50 to $5.25 and $2 more for the combo. Personally I think they should get rid of the fancy branded boxes and carry out bags to keep the cost low. This way the food will be low cost as before and more customers will be attracted to the prices. But overall good food and good customer service.
