Unfortunately had a really bad experience with Turo yet again with another cancellation. First of all, when I rented that specific car for a reason. My Family were coming all the way from Europe to spend New Year's Eve and New Year's day together. I had to pick them up from airport and we had many plans during the holidays. I was supposed to pickup the vehicle today and just few hours before the pickup time, I received that email, that the trip that I booked was cancelled. I did emailed back to the customer service right away and didn't hear anything back from them. I asked for full refund, and it will take 3-5 days to get my money back from the company. One thing I like about most rental companies including Enterprise, is that they don't charge you until you actually pickup the car. Now I don't have a vehicle, I don't have my money and I ended up with cancelling plans. Unfortunately Turo was the worst rental company so far to deal with this kind of situations. It's a shame really, because they offer some really high end vehicles, which was my primary reason to choose this company.

Great communication with the team at Turo, its a great concept with real people out there making a difference to the standard car rental options. Great cars at great prices with a personal touch. Earn money while your vehicle is parked, its a good way for people to make additional income. It is tough out there, so a little extra for something that you already own (car) can go a long way. Join the revolution!

WORST COMPANY POSSIBLE. NEVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. MOST UNRELIABLE COMPANY OUT THERE. ONE DAY BEFORE MY TRIP TO FLORIDA. VEHICLE WAS CANCELLED AND TURO DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. WORST NECER EVER RENT FROM THIS PLACE PLEASE AND THANK YOU!

Not covered by AMEX cards possibly other credit card companies since there is no rental contract, all they would have to do is create a rental contract that the user (renter) and the owner would both sign and this would than be covered by your credit card insurance depending on which card you have. That's really too bad since that would be a very easy way of ensuring people had better coverage when they use Turo. Also a little extra peace of mind.
