The Turbo Chicken sandwich was good and the presentation was nice, but for the price, I think it should at least include a small side of fries. The branding of this place is cool and energetic, but they didn't have a counter staff to match. It felt like I was bothering her by ordering. My son loved the milkshake, but I wish there was a kid size for half the price.
Mouth watering delicious. Best onion rings, wedges and the Cluck Cluck is absolutely savory and delicious. I ordered the other day on skip and had to bring my mother here today to try it. I spoke to the brother of the owner and found out this is the first location and it is a local business. Chicken is halal which is premium quality and they cook everything to order and batter it all fresh everything is done by hand absolutely a must try place to eat. Prices are competitive with that of Popeye's but this is significantly better than Popeye's. This is a must try place to get delicious food. They have delicious food and deserts. Staff are extremely friendly and seem to genuinely enjoy their job. The atmosphere is colorful and vibrant. And right now when I came in you can get wedges for free with your food so you save on the delicious food. Absolutely will come back again many times in the future. This is a must try it you live in Nova Scotia or are even visiting. It is absolutely something that you need to try. Kid-friendliness: Fun environment for kids. Chicken strip combos would be a great kids option. Parking: Located on Quinpool road with decent sized dedicated parking lot.
We had a good experience at Turbo Chicken. It is so nice that we don't have to worry about parking on Quinpool road. We ordered the Grill Deluxe Burger, Turbo Chicken Burger, and Hot Hen Burger. The burgers are beautiful and yummy with juicy chicken inside. The waffle fries are special and tasty.
I have wanted to come in since the day the sign went up and finally did and had the lunch special. The chicken, waffle fries and the home made sauces are incredibly good, fresh and tasty. The decor is so colorful, bright , warm and cheerful. The guy working on the front counter taking your order today is super friendly and helpful and has the most amazing smile. He just gives off this incredible positive and warm, welcoming energy. Instantly perked me up and made me feel better on such a yucky cold winter day. I never caught his name but I was there around 1pm. Thank him for me. I will definitely be back. Thank you
My wife and I were hungry but it was 9:00pm and the only thing open was the typical fast food joints or pizza and donair. I'm so glad we saw this restaurant while we were driving around! Great chicken sandwiches and really good sides. Our server even threw in an extra side of their Mac Bites on the house! Thanks guys! Look at the size of those sandwiches! my wife's hands are a large size glove, and I wear an XL for reference. Enjoy! Vegetarian options: Salad Kid-friendliness: Very friendly and open hospitality.
It was my first time trying turbo chicken. I would say not bad. The waffle fries were pretty yummy. The chicken sandwich was pretty good. However, I would not say that it is that much better than KFC. Also it was very expensive at around $20 plus for a combo including taxes.Food: 4/5

I got the hot hen burger for $15. It was really tasty and a good size, worth the money to try. The service felt a bit awkward, like the staff wasn’t happy to be there. I was a bit uncomfortable with their menu as they had a milkshake that was $17 BEFORE tax…there’s no way it’s better than 3 tubs of Ben and Jerry’s. I don’t expect to be back.
Fresh 6oz chicken breast..... nothing fake or overly breaded. Fresh hot and staff are incredibly nice. Not cheap but real isn't cheap now is it?Food: 5/5
Good food, good atmosphere, good service. Prices are slightly high but you are getting a solid portion and an elevated sandwich. “This ain’t no McChicken”.
