This place is Kool great sub shop. The fuel center shopping center is extremely capable. Inside and out. I've pulled in here with my 78' train. If driving north on 24 I can swing in the 1st drive Follow it out to the next entrance to the road the road pulling out and straightening out my train and then I can back it right in the hole at that gas station and jump out and eat at the restaurant or go down to the shopping center
Tubby's I have been a customer for decades and will forever be. But the ingredients in the past few years have been less than what they once were. I still love you taco sub, but it seems that you have cut some corners.Food: 3/5

The food was delicious and exactly what I've come to expect from Tubbys. My food was made quickly after I ordered it so it was piping hot. Do not pop a fried mushroom in your face when you get to the car, you'll regret it immediately. It was delicious though, so it was kind of worth it.
Good food, however, they will no longer get my business. I discovered that tips left for the cooks, both cash and credit card, are not given to them. The owners keep ALL the tips instead of giving them to the employees. Take that with a grain of salt before you give them, or tip them, any of your hard earned money. Shame, too.. they had an awesome staff.
Everytime I'm in Metamora I stop here to grab a sandwich.
I love Tubby's and this one is the BEST!!! Always tastes fresh, always IS fresh. Even if you grab one out of the cooler when the counter is closed, it'll be so good! And they do a great job with the extras like fries and onion petals and whatever. Best subs around!
It's in the shell gas station. The store was clean, staff friendly, fast, knowledgeable, food was good. I'll definitely be hitting this vs McDonald's few building down from now on. Highly recommend a visit.
