Today I had a note on my door from Wheel-Trans. The driver supposed to pick someone at 8 Statesman Square, mistakenly came to my door and left this message. I hope that poor passenger was able to go to the place as planned.
Great service and people serving us! Thank you!nnJust little hard get you at night. Today assistant hanged up on emergency line 5 times. Still trying to reach. Stuck in coffee shop since 9 pm. Finally my scooter got energy to reach home, but after talking with staff after one man stoking and swearing at me inside the Tim Horton at Lawrence and Dufferin. They said I have to get a ride since man was too violent and he can wait outside. I called between 12 midnight till 12.33 am. Someone keeps on hanging on me at emergency line. So sad…

I started using wheel trans 5 years ago when I was in high school. The service is good. All of the cab drivers are nice and kind. Even though I do sometimes feel anxious because I worry if I will miss the ride because sometimes the drivers go to the wrong door. But mostly wheel trans has good service.
As a retired teacher I rate wheel transportation in Toronto an F!! My mom is 87, in a nursing home. Her doctors, physiotherapist, director of care and myself filled out a 6 page application form for wheelchair transportation. TTC sent it back to me asking for passport pictures. How does my mother get a passport picture when she sits in a 200 lb wheelchair all day, with dementia in a nursing home? I must pay $50 ONE way to go 15 minutes with Emery Mobility. My bill is $100.00 to go to St. Joseph's hospital which is 15 minutes from my moms nursing home. Bringing her back is another $50.00 and it takes only 15 minutes! Shame on TTC for making my mother pay $100.00 to simply visit the hospital for a CAT scan. I must give TTC an F meaning FAIL!!!
