Most delicious sushi I've ever had!! We loved it! There were plenty of tables, we sat down right away, service was fast for how full it was on a Friday night. Clean and nice The sushi was tasty and filling. The sushi rolls were so huge that we will probably buy just 2 next time for the 2 of us.
We were passing by and need to grab something to eat. We gave this place a try. The sushi here are pretty decent. We tried four different rolls and they are not too bad. I have eaten a lot of sushi, so I can do a good retaliation and have high expectations.This place does not rank at the top of my list but definitely close to the top. The waiter was difficult to understand but very nice. The restroom was clean and smelled good. The downside was their floor was very sticky and poor ventilation so we smelled like we were in the kitchen after we left there.
We went here last night and again today. The food was AMAZING. Yes, we read the reviews and saw the service was maybe less than perfect but my dad assured me it was great. The staff made sure we had our food as quickly as possible although they were very busy last night. They customized my sushi roll very easily and checked on us here and there. It was less frequently than other places we've gone so take every opportunity to ask them for whatever you need when they come to the table. All of the food was super fresh and took a little longer to make but was soooo good. We had 4 different plates of food, hot tea, edamame and a large Chef's choice platter. The edamame was pretty salty so we ordered it without and made sure to salt it to our liking when it arrived at the table. Our sushi today was excellent [again]. If you were on the fence before, just go in and try it. You might just love it like we did.
Good size sushi rolls and I really liked the New Orleans roll. Service needs a little work
I LOVE soft-shelled crab sushi rolls! BUT for the first time in my life I had a horrible one at this restaurant. It tasted like it was cooked a week before And reheated. It was stale, oily, and awful. The waiter was nice and attentive, so I left him a good tip, but I sure hope he didn't have to share it with the kitchen. Why? Don't offer a menu item if you can't serve it properly! Won't be going there again. Wish I could leave zero stars.
Came in on Valentine's day for dinner with hubby. Very busy and we completely understood that wait time would be a little higher so we were expecting delays, before anyone thinks we were unreasonable. The food itself was amazing! Coming from California where we have an abundance of choices for sushi, I have to say this place got high on our list. Completely unexpectedly delicious. What we had issues was service. The server who showed us to our table rushed off and threw the menus on our table before we even reached the table. Took forever for our food to arrive, I honestly think they forgot about us. Food finally arrived just before closing. Then we were rushed to eat and leave as it was already past closing time. Had it not been for the service I would have given them 5 stars. Will probably just order out next time. Kid-friendliness: Have kid-friendly options on menu.
The was amazing! I loved the caterpillar roll and the sauce they give is bomb decent amount too. I only dropped it a star because they are pretty expensive and I’m coming from San Diego’s sushi…
they gave and charged us bottled water instead of cups of water. veggie tempura was bad. sashimi wasn't the best quality escolar and very thin so not worth the price. spider roll and gyoza were good, yami yami roll was okayFood: 2/5
Huge fan of Tsunami Sushi. Only came here once a while back on a tourist trip, but found that Tsunami Sushi was amazing. Would recommend!
