My family recently dined at Truly Greek. All I can say is, prepare your taste buds to be dazzled by this Truly Greek authentic experience. The food is freshly prepared with all best ingredients to amaze and delight. This is a family run establishment where George, mom and dad are there to greet and welcome to the family as their friend and guest. The dining area is casual and clean with all the goodness of home. First time here. Food was amazing and i love the set up. You can create your own salads, wraps, etc.
I have been to Truly Greek many times for lunch and every time the food is delicious. Seriously a way healthier alternative to all the other fast food options on Westport Ave and it’s even just as tasty if not tastier. Staff is always kind and food always good. I highly recommend getting a rizogalo for dessert too. Vegetarian options: You can customize your meal and therefore say no to the meat. Kid-friendliness: Casual atmosphere. Parking: Lots of parking in the shopping strip. Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and parking right in front. Dietary restrictions: You can customize your meal so you can add or subtract whatever you want.
I work at a hotel near this location. We all go to this place for lunch and dinner. Everyone is friendly and really cares about their customers. Highly recommend this place. Best greek food in the area no doubt!
I am so done with this place when it comes to online ordering for takeout. The last four of five orders I’ve placed have been wrong so why did I go back so many times? My husband likes it and doesn’t care if the order isn’t right. Here’s the latest. See photo – where’s the tzatziki? Where’s the garlic cream? And then there’s the issue of picking up. Orders are kept on a counter and God forbid that you should walk over and take the bag with your name on it. Do so and the staff will yell from across the room as though you’ve stolen your food keep in mind – they do not ask for an ID. Touch the bag with your name on it, and you will be scolded for touching the bags. No, you are required to wait until they have no in-store customers and can hand your bag to you the mobile app encourages you to visit and counter and take your order. And then there’s the language barrier. Once, I had to argue with them that my name was actually the name on the receipt stapled to the bag. I’m not the one with the accent, by the way. If they are so concerned that people are stealing food, then keep those bags behind the counter and require an ID unlike every other restaurant with online ordering/takeout. These people have become rude and consistently inaccurate. Not worth it.
Such delicious and authentic Greek food! The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the staff always have a smile on their faces, ready to cater to your preferences. You can select from a salad bowl to a gyro, and add any toppings you would like. The options for the toppings are varied and you definitely get your money's worth. If you're feeling something sweet, you can pick a Greek yogurt with the toppings of your choice, as well as baklava which happens to be my favorite. Can't wait to go back!
What did I like about this business??? EVERYTHING! Hands down the BEST place to eat in Norwalk! From the friendly staff to the Amazing Food, this place will never disappoint! I am from out of town and have already eaten here twice! Best Greek food in town for 100%!!!! This place is clean, the lighting is perfect!
Great Greek food with excellent service. I order deliveries from them regularly, usually one of their create your own bowls. The food is delivered exceptionally quickly and I'm always pleased with the taste. The restaurant is small but clean and there is plenty of parking. It's a great place for those people interested in eating keto: order the bowl and fill it with proteins and add some tzatziki and feta. Very filling and you won't go over your carbs for that day. If you want good, simple Greek food this place is where you need to go, I can't recommend it enough!
A true Norwalk gem! Quick service with many DELICIOUS options. The place is very clean and cozy. The staff is very kind and welcoming. Would definitely recommend anyone who’s looking for a yummy spot!
