I’ve been very pleased with their service. It’s nice having a trusted service provider I can walk to rather than drive to Orangeville. Recommended for any service that doesn’t need to be done at the dealer.
Dan and Brian have a passion for cars and it shows in everything they do. They care about making your car run perfectly. Quality work at a very fair price.Services: General repairs & maintenance
They gave me a quote on the repairs. They only repaired what was needed. Friendly service my appointment was one time. Prices are very reasonable.
My family and I were away for the weekend when something went wrong with my rear brakes. The owner assured me that he could get my car in shortly and have a look. 30 mins later I was back on the road. I don't live near this auto shop but it would be worth the 2 hour drive to have them service my vehicles. Job well done and my Family and I thank you very muchService: Brakes
Great shop. Even though they were booked out for weeks. Dan was able to find time to get my car booked in at a moments notice when it died on me. Thanks Tru-tech Automotive!Service: Electrical repair
On Friday April 26th my car was sticking in park. After a quick Google search I found out that it was most likely the break switch. I called two local mechanic shops and the second one although busy said he could order the part for me. I picked it up the same day and over the course of the weekend, before my husband even got to change it, a warning code came up on the dash. The code said 'engine fault service now'. Monday morning I brought the car straight to the mechanic that had ordered the part for me. Knowing he was very busy and would not get to my car before Thursday or Friday I left it with him, stating I would be back Saturday and I wouldn't need the car before then. On Thursday I got a call from him saying my car lights were left on, the battery was dead and he couldn't get in with the keyless entry. Luckily we were passing through and took the spare key to unlock the doors. Friday afternoon he texted me saying my car was fixed and I couldn pick it up, the total was $180 and the invoice was in the car. A quick and easy etransfer and I was happy thinking the problem was solved and it wasn't too expensive. Saturday when I picked up my car it was still stuck in park and I now had a break light fault warning in addition to the engine fault. I immediately texted the mechanic and let him know. I was not too happy to have paid $180 for nothing and I was also missing the plastic kick plate that goes over my break and gas pedals. Over the course of the weekend I noticed that I had no break lights and all my headlight controls were not working, so I had no high beams or fog lamps. Sunday before I left for work I took the car back and left it in the parking lot at the mechanic's shop. First thing Monday morning I texted to let him know what was going on with the car. We texted back and forth several times that day. He told me the kick plate was not there when he started working on the car and then said if I didn't touch it how did I know it was there at all. I chose not to push the matter any further because my car and my safety were at the mercy of this mechanic, whos attitude and customer care were poor to say the least. He later informed me that he had found a faulty wire under the hood and my break lights and shifter were now working. On Tuesday afternoon I texted him to get an update on the headlights, as I had not heard from him since the day before. At which time he had told me he would keep me posted. The end of business was fast approaching and still no word. This was making me a little nervous because of the number of hours potential being billed. So I decided to call and check how it was going, I got voice mail. Shortly after he texted and asked me to call him. When I called back I identified myself and he immediately expressed his frustration with texting and me wanting to know what was going on with my car. He was very rude and would not listen to anything I was saying. In one breath he said he would have to earn my trust as a new customer and in the next he said 'look lady just come get your car'. I don't think it is unrealistic for a customer who is paying for a job by the hour to be kept in the loop once a day. People who do business like this make it hard to trust mechanics and it looks bad on the whole industry. I picked up my car terrified that he would sabotage it some how, I have never felt this uncomfortable with a mechanic.
Dan & his guys know what they are doing. They are honest about what needs to be done w your vehicle and they do it at a very reasonable cost.
Was very good. Friendly and knowledgeable. Reasonable price.
Good quality work, honest mechanics and reasonable prices!
