Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I wish I could give 0 stars. Went on a Thursday, arrived around 6:50p, was immediately informed by the two people rushing to clean up and change garbage bags that the oven was already turned off so all we could order was a smoothie. Fine. But then moments later, a black teenager walked in to which the young woman working raised her hand, literally made a swatting motion at him, and yelled "NO, we're locking the doors!" I looked at my watch to see that it was 6:55. I also noticed that their two neon OPEN signs were still flashing for the outside world to see, and the sign taped to the door lists the business hours as open until 7; not 6:55. This employee is, at worst, a racist who believes that this behavior is now acceptable or, at best, an apathetic millennial with terrible customer service skills. I wrote a concerned letter to corporate offices, haven't heard back. We'll never return.

Love it! I try something different all the time but favorite is Get Up and Goji!! Healthy options and love the app for easy ordering....

Yummy smoothies (personal favorite is the Blimey Limey) but some of the employees are very brusque and not very inviting to customers.
