Trinity Square Cafe

Story

Trinity Square is a public square in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is bounded by the Toronto Eaton Centre, an office building known as Bell Trinity Square, and the Marriott Downtown Eaton Centre Hotel. The square's primary feature is the Anglican Church of the Holy Trinity. The Henry Scadding House and Holy Trinity Rectory are heritage buildings that are also located in the square. It includes a fountain and ornamental pond, and a labyrinth path.Trinity Square's primary street access is via James Street, which extends north from Queen Street between the Eaton Centre and Toronto's Old City Hall, although the square can also be accessed by walkways from Bay Street and Dundas Street, as well as through the Eaton Centre.HistoryThe Square was once the Terauley estate of John Simcoe Macaulay (Terauley Cottage), which had been acquired by his father James Macaulay in 1797. Macaulay sold his home and land in 1845, giving land for the construction of the Church of the Holy Trinity. By 1900, the area around the church became the Eaton's Annex. The site of Bell Trinity Square, an office building built in 1982 by John B. Parkin Associates, was once home to the 10 floor Eaton's House Furnishing Building, built in 1919.

The food was amazing. I was so much pleased after eating food their. Thank you Trinity.
Surprisingly good food. Great prices. And you feel good about eating there because of the charitable aspects. I do find the place a bit dark for my liking.
Healthy and delicious food for great price. Cash only.
This is the place to get your soup! Absolutely a must during cold days. Probably the most reasonably priced lunch spot in the area. The wonderful people and cozy spot make it even better ! Definitely recommend!
Great, delicious, nutritious food at a great price in a friendly environment
A hidden Toronto gem. Fantastic fresh lunches and soups Moroccan Tomato is worth a visit alone. One of the only places to get a great lunch downtown for under $10.
A reliably homespun place. A simple menu, but tastily and reliably executed. Daily specials on a weekly rotation. Very reasonably priced. Don't look for espresso or anything either fancy or trendy here. Only open for lunch on weekdays. Usually friendly. The space is cluttered and crowded. I wouldn't bring a date here.
Best lunch spot in the area. Good prices, great food - tastes very homey and healthy! Lots of variety throughout the week with a ton of unique vegetarian and vegan options!
