Trethewey, president of the lumber company during the boom years of the 1920s, the house is constructed primarily of local materials, making it a unique representation of Abbotsford's early industries.The site includes the Sylvia Pincott Heritage Habitat Garden, the relocated historic Upper Sumas BC Electric Railway station, and a heritage gallery featuring the award-winning exhibit "The River People and the Land: Living within S’ólh Téméxw"."
