Trepanier Originals

I was fortunate to visit the Trépanier Barn Studio and Gallery on a lovely Spring day. Daffodils bloomed along the grassy path to the Barn, and Cory took time to welcome me and tour me around inside— prints of arctic paintings currently touring the US, large canvases now being completed to add to that tour, and a comfy 'theatre' giving a breathtaking high arctic experience to visitors like me. Then in their home Gallery, Janet and Cory were there as I moved around the rooms admiring smaller framed prints of the more grand originals. It was a lovely first visit, and I've since enjoyed the art cards, music and DVD I purchased. Next time, I'll bring a friend!

I learned about Cory Trepanier from his films. When I heard that I would be in the Toronto area on business I made plans to visit his gallery. It was the highlight of the trip! Cory met me in person and took time out from his painting to give me a personal tour of the gallery and his studio. This very scenic country farmhouse setting is worth the trip and while his videos and prints are wonderful you really need to see his original work in person. Thanks Cory for making me feel so welcome!

A visit to Cory Trépanier's gallery in the Caledon Hills takes you to some of the most beautiful natural areas in our country through his paintings, photos and film. It's a wonderful opportunity to talk with one of Canada's busiest and most celebrated artists in his home studio and learn what goes on behind the scenes to make it all happen.

What a interesting gallery and more importantly is to watch the videos of Cory's northern travel thru the vast ranges of Canada's north while you are at the gallery. Purchase a DVD to enjoy at home.
