What a fantastic spot! I admit I was wary going in, with the track record of historical spots that don't always live up to their reputations. I'm glad to be shown how lovely and deserving of its enduring reputation Trenary is! Incredible food that is only as complicated as it needs to be, inviting cozy interior, and staff who are friendly and helpful! I absolutely adored the lox, and the breakfast sammie on a cinnamon roll was great add the pepper jelly!. I got their famous and delicious toast to go, of course
Ternary Toast Cafe has great coffee, good food, and reasonable prices! I got the Maple sugar latte: I could taste the maple syrup and the coffee in the best respects. All the food is made right as you order it. I asked some locals an elderly couple and they said all the food they’ve ever had here is very good. My cousin who enjoyed their bread pudding agreed that the food is yummy. The great service and music really gave chill vibes all around.
Nice place to go in downtown Marquette. We had coffee and it was good. Staff was friendly. They have wide seating area, convenient table arrangement and a merchandise shop as well. Restrooms were clean. Price was reasonable.
Cute little café with a small food menu. Has sandwiches, coffees, breakfast sandwiches, cinnamon rolls. For being such a simple menu the food was really good! The house blend coffee was good.
Best breakfast in Marquette!! We loved everything about our first visit to Trenary Toast! The staff was kind and friendly, the beautiful space was inviting and the food was beyond delicious! They really do have the best cinnamon rolls in the UP! We loved them so much we grabbed more along with a few bags of cinnamon toast of course! the next morning for our long road trip home Trenary Toast will definitely be at the top of our list when we visit Marquette again!
I stopped at Trenary Toast for a coffee at the end of my Marquette tour. I'm glad I did. The coffee was good and the cinnamon bread they sell was excellent, especially with some cream cheese. The employees were very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. I'd definitely come here again.
Really great unique breakfast menu, and great cinnamon rolls. Love the merch and the Trenary Toast bag shirt. Very friendly service. It’s a bit pricey, but great quality for the money.
Positively delicious little spot in Marquette. Sweetest staff around. By far the best Lavender Honey Latte I've ever had!
Great Morning Spot! Creative Items that really perk the taste buds. This is the UNIQUE twist we’re all craving. I think they are still a little “brand new” behind the counter with production. However, I have a trained eye for process so I’m hyper critical in that area. Their friendly, WELCOMING demeanor was super comforting. I got the special and a chino coffee that was prepared to perfection by the detail oriented Barista. A real joy to find this place.
I was happy to see on their website multiple vegan options. While I’m happy they have vegan options, my sandwich today was $14 and looked dismal. Even with the tomatoes that were supposed to be on it, which they forgot to put on, it would not have been worth it. I didn’t realize how much more it was to have a sandwich made vegan, so that was my bad for not asking, but to add almost $4 to take off half of what was supposed to be on it and serve two pieces of bread, super thin layer of vegan cream cheese, two pieces vegan bacon and a lil jalapeño. $14! Came with a side of chips. The vanilla oat milk latte was good. But won’t be going back.
