I can't believe this is the first review! This place is awesome. Tons of props from the star trek films and shows. Other shows too, like titanic, captain America, and others. But the star trek is what blew my mind. Really clean and modern layout. Friendly and knowledgeable staff are full of info and give regular guided tours. It's a block off center Street. Make sure you don't miss it.
For the the space this museum occupies, it certainly holds a lot! I must have been in there a good two hours looking at everything. The co-owner and curator Michael is very informative, and has some very interesting stories of his own to share about meeting various celebrities, and their behind the scene tidbits. Totally unassuming place, but it was worth driving out for the day from Calgary.
If you're a fan of Star Trek and are interested in seeing the props/costumes that were used on screen in various productions of Star Trek you'll enjoy walking through this fairly small exhibit. There are also a few other items like Dum Dum Dugan's outfit from Captain America, or Superman's cape used in one of the Christopher Reeves films. Ultimately I was hoping for more, perhaps if they had a larger space, but left happy because these types of things interest me.
Lots of things from not just Star Trek to see. Michael knows his stuff, and he has lots of stories to tell. Well worth the visit.
The museum was kinda neat. It was cool to see some of the items from the movies and shows. I didn't end up spending all that much time there though. A fun little road trip anyways.
A really nice selection of trek memorabilia and etcetera. Knowledgeable friendly curator. Can't wait to see what the new location brings.
So quirky and fun. You have to check it out even if you aren't into Star Trek.
Worth the weekend drive to check it out. Lots of neat props and the curator is really knowledgeable
Smaller than I thought but I I love anything Star Trek.
It's the only fun thing to do in Vulcan !
