A caution! I read these great reviews here and thought I was choosing the best company to sell and install a heat pump system at my home in Riondel. I talked by phone with Traven and sent complete floor plans and was given the option of heat on one floor or both. I chose the both and paid the $6500. I assumed I was going to be able to replace my electric baseboard heaters. Only when heating season came and temps dropped to around 2c  did I find that it was unable to heat the main installed area even to 20c. A month after reporting this the installers came by and told me it was operating correctly, and I was charged for this ten minute visit. Tratech has given no response to the fact that the system is too undersized to meet my intended use. A disappointing and discouraging relationship with Tratech and heat pumps.

Tratech supplied and installed a Veissmann propane boiler floor heating system and tied into the existing Electric boiler system so we could utilize either system with a 2 minute switchover routine. The dual system has worked flawlessly for 4 years. I recently discovered a leak in some threaded and soldered fittings in the original piping and stopped to talk to them about my idea for a repair. Traven explained why my idea would not likely work and suggested an alternate method using a Propress fitting and promptly ordered the fitting for me and supplied the press tool so I could complete the repair. We were very impressed with the plumbing service from Tratech mechanical. The fellow we had, Ryan, was quick, efficient, knowledgeable and courteous. We would not hesitate to use them again. I also found the invoice to be well laid out and the price to be very affordable!

Very professional and friendly service! My sewing system was cleaned and completely examined till connection to main city line. Full record and  suggestions were provided. All HVAC system was checked, cleaned and repaired with high quality of work. Office people were very friendly, provided fast and very reasonable estimation and price. I can't over-state how professional & compassionate Tratech Mechanical was on repairing my 84 year old father-in-laws propane leak at his residence in Canyon B.C. This company & 'Ryan' the tech arrived in short order to repair the leak that I had smelled upon arriving for a visit, Ryan made sure everything was now in safe working order including firing up the furnace to be positive all was functioning properly. I'm from Kelowna where usually you would NOT get this type of service  or a return phone call most times . It is refreshing to see there are some truly good businesses still out there!!
