Trails End Taphouse & Restaurant

About

Trails End is a family friendly restaurant featuring a Northwest themed menu and delicious selection of Craft Beer!

Story

Trails End Taphouse & Restaurant first opened its doors in March 2011 as Snohomish Beer & Wine, a small bottle shop dedicated to supplying the wedding industry with beer and wine as well as satisfying the craft beer needs of Snohomish locals. The overwhelming support and feedback from our loyal guests encouraged us to quickly grow and change, including increasing the number of taps, building a draught lineup to reflect the desires of our fellow craft beer enthusiasts, and by June, offering our delicious panini sandwiches (still on the menu today!). As support for our beer, wine, and food increased, we were bursting at the seams with our strong drive to offer new and exciting items!

After a lot of dedication, hard work, and planning, in August 2012, Snohomish Beer & Wine expanded and reopened as Trails End Taphouse & Restaurant. Now featuring 28 taps and over 100 bottles of beer from all over the world and a full menu focusing on homemade dishes using fresh ingredients, we aim to maintain the friendly neighborhood feel from which we grew – personal attention to every guest.

In January 2014, Trails End Taphouse & Restaurant was purchased by Chris Shirley, original designer of Snohomish Beer & Wine’s panini menu, Trails End Taphouse & Restaurant’s debut menu, and a collaborator of our current menu and ongoing specials. Every year we look back on this ongoing wild and wonderful ride; we find so much value in the many connections, friendships, knowledge, experience, and success we’ve been so fortunate to share with you. While we’ve definitely encountered our fair share of growing pains (thank you for your patience!), we assure you we are always and primarily committed to continue our quest to exceed our guests’ expectations.

In November 2015, we expanded upstairs to include more restaurant seating, an onsite banquet room, and are currently working on an onsite prep/catering kitchen so we can better serve our guests in the restaurant as well as our catering division! We are constantly striving to make more positive changes; we always welcome your feedback to better enhance the experience we offer, including your experiences with us, favorite beers, menus items, etc. Please, during any visit, feel free to ask your server for a comment/suggestion card to share with us!

We are so fortunate to have a strong, long tenured core team of people who believe in, and are committed to growth, improvement, and providing a consistently stellar experience for you! Please stay tuned for more exciting additions!

"Trails End Taphouse & Restaurants mission is to consistently provide an exceptional dining and catering experience while continually evaluating opportunities to enhance our offering, strengthen our team, and exceed the expectations of our guests and community."

It's expensive for what it is. The Sandwich and pizza both tasted like something you could make at home. I'm trying to figure out if this is just where people go in this area because the beer selection is decent and the portions are filling. The pizza tastes dangerously close between a gas station and a decent place. The sauce and crust are harder than chewy. The sauce and crust is nothing memorable in a bad way. The cheese pizza will demonstrate this best. The toppings on something with a little more fat and acid is the only way to go if you're eating here. The sandwich had quite a bit of bread that some people might not like, but it balanced the extra thick slice of meat on it in my opinion. The wait system is nice in that you know how many people are ahead of you. I just don't see a reason to come back here when I can pay these prices in town for better tasting food. Please don't let me misconstrue that you won't get full or that it's not a decent deal because of that and having a large menu can help out here. This place is about beers. The food is good enough. Kid-friendliness: You get crayons and a menu they can color. Booster and expect a wait time of a while during peak hours
Expensive American comfort food - enjoyed the loaded chips, artichoke dip, and steak sandwich. The steak sandwich here was $20 while you can get a prime rib sandwich at Met Market for $17 which definitely is more flavorful and bigger. Service was great though, they have lots of parking both a lot and street parking and both indoor with ac and outdoor seating. Was a little dark inside and unfortunately we were seated next to the kitchen door so servers kept coming by yelling “door”! Not the best experience overall but still enjoyed coming here
I had a great dinner with friends here. The bacon macaroni and cheese was delicious, portions were generous, and the desserts were decadent. They have a large selection of ale and cider on tap available. Our waitress for very personable and ensured we had a good meal. I will definitely be a return customer.
Awesome food and staff.Very clean .Great beer and wine selections. Kick azz dishes. Love it all.Always a pleasure to visit when in town.My go to restaurant..
Drinks are plentiful- However the food is pricey - I ordered the loaded chips- they were garbage!!! The chips were burnt and they definitely were not “Loaded”. Just a few patches of melted cheese here and there and a light sprinkle of bacon bits and chives. Totally lame for sure, especially for $15.99 I do recommend the Pumpkin cider- delish!!
We really liked this place. It has a rustic amd home like feel. The food was hellla good. We had the smoke bomb sandwich and steak sandwich which were both on point We sat at the bar and watched a couple guys hand making pizzas so we had to give one a try too. We had a goat cheese prosciutto and arugula can't remember the name amd it was amazing. We love our beers and the tap list had a solid list with variety, which is refreshing to see. We don't like IPA's and often times big tap lists are dominated by IPA's which gets annoying. They even had a specific barrel aged beer list for us stout lovers and beer selection to buy to go. We definitely plan on going back. Our service was good but they get very busy here so plan for that. Parking: It gets busy here and there's multiple businesses on site so you may have to park on the street
Lots of dark beers. Endless options. Delicious food. Love bread bites.. Nice place to chill with friends.Recommended dishesBeer Flight, Jalapeno Poppers
Tasty food with generous portions and absolutely excellent service with personality! Update: went a second time and the service and food remained top notch!
Good selection of everything. They offered 4 unique ciders to choose from; lemon basil was surprisingly good. Salmon is recommended. Clam chowder was okay. Parking was easy. Outdoor patio. You can bring your dog.
We love the food and atmosphere of this restaurant. For this visit we tried the pasta selections and both were very tasty and filling. I enjoyed the cider special that was on tap and my wife had the Huckleberry Cider by One Tree. We also suggest getting the "House Cut Potato Chips".
