Trailhead Cafe

I love this little local coffee house! Always try to stop in when I'm in Bar Harbor. The coffee is delicious and the service is excellent. However it is rather dirty. The most recent time I was in Bar Harbor I was looking into one of storefront windows that look into the kitchen of the coffee house where they have a chest freezer where they prepare food on top of the top surface of everywhere food would be was clean however there was a large amount of crumbs gathering on the windowsill behind the freezer and appeared to have sticky residue on the backside of the freezer definitely not attractive. However it did appear all spaces where food is being prepared was clean.

She feels that it is important for her to make the drinks like you want it, not the way she wants it. Just another way of articulating that, "The customer is always right." Obviously a very caring person. Notice on her storefront window from outside the sign that says, "You are welcome to use the bathroom here." All this and the espresso drinks are wonderful! Two visits within a 4-5 hour period!

Trailhead has the best coffee on the island! The dancing goats blend is a fantastic light roast and Matt and Angel are awesome!

Owner was extremely rude to me. The coffee and food is good but I refuse to go there because of how rude the employees are. Treat your customers right.
