Best Reuben EVER! And the fried mushrooms have a great batter. They are huge, juicy deliciousness. Don't forget the pie. I had to get a whole one to go. Kudos to our waitress Courtney. Parking: Plenty of parking
Excellent food and a neat little store attached. They have a bakery on site which means fresh baked goods. My favorite is the open face turkey sandwich. The turkey is flavorful, the gravy tastes homemade and of course the bread is made on site. Service is always excellent as is the food. Well worth the trip.
It's so amazing. If you want the best and freshest food you have ever ate, then I suggest to come here. A lovely setting plus the staff is so friendly and awesome. The bakery is also one of the best.
This place, as they say, IS truly a destination! The atmosphere is terrific, huge store inside with really neat stuff, our server was impeccable and refilled coffee numerous times before I was even at half a cup, and the food was wonderful. I can't say enough about this restaurant!Dine in: Yes
Stopped here on a recommendation from the welcome center here in Pennsylvania. Recommended by Cindy. We had lunch at this Traditions restaurant. Our server's name was Brit. She was extremely nice and attentive. The food was really good. Enjoyed it very much. Lovely place. Would definitely come back here again someday.Food: 5/5
Came for a family dinner with a large party,we had a reservation and were seated right away. Loved all the classic Pennsylvania dishes on the menu, like perogies and ham balls. We skipped on an appetizer and ate the wonderful bread with apple butter! Food came out fast! Even with a large group. Everything was hot and fresh. I ordered the roast beef with mashed potatoes and corn. It came with stuffing which was, to me the star of the dish! Others in the group ordered the steak salad and the open face turkey sandwich. Everyone loved their meals! Restaurant was clean, a little cluttered with country decor but that's just my personal preference. I ordered Shoe Fly Pie to go! Very happy!
No wait time to get seated Tuesday around 6pm. Service was great. Food was yummy. Strawberry lemonade was very good. Didn't get to try any of the sweets but next time we will for sure.
Service was great. Wide variety on menu. Disappointed to not get juice with breakfast since I ordered a platter and didn't realize it came with it. Lots of fresh bakery items. Pie and cake and cookies and gobs/whoopie pies. Feature for breakfast was pumpkin pancakes. Also had pumpkin roll and pumpkin cheesecake. Will cut slices or you can buy the whole thing. There was a bit of a wait but well worth it. They are busy on Saturdays and don't typically take reservations. They are closed on Sundays. Parking area is ample. The store downstairs is huge. Deceptive in size. The gift store side is much larger than you can see from upstairs. Have items like boxes of cards, soaps, lotions, canvas art, things you used to see in hometown pharmacies... They have tons on Carhart items and good shoes/boots in various sizes. Many kids clothes and shoes too. John Deere items. Have half slips for under $10 for the ladies and lots of cute toys for kids, many Doug and Melissa brand. Totally recommend a stop here!! Seasonal patio available for outdoor seating. Dutch foods. Enjoy!
Update April 2023: We were here again. Great food, decent service. Kids meals are great and price is 3.99 for kids meals breakfast at least. I had farmers wife meal this time very good. I haven't even had the donut yet but it looks amazing. Eggs, bacon, yummy pancakes. Good spot here! Very good food here. We had breakfast. Now evidently on Sat they run out of donuts early...as our meals were to include donuts but they had none. They offered whooping instead which was nice. We haven't tried those yet. Rachel and Veronica our main waitress were both very nice and came around to refill coffee. Food was good prices were reasonable. I had the working man with corned beef hash haven't had in years but it was good. Biscuits were good. Nice store nextdoor and nice outside area. The manager that was there at the time was nice I forget her name.
A traditional and cosy dining experience! Prawns were cooked to perfection with a nice sauce, meatloaf was super tasty! Steak was little over done for my liking but was still good. Service was super friendly!
