Attended my first year here for Heavy Automotive Foundation. Had an absolutely excellent time here. The instuctors are easy to get along with and the shops are all extremely well equipped and up-to-date. Highly reccomend TRU trades and I intend to return for my next 3 years.
Women in Trades Program was incredible! It has changed my life and the lives of my children. The support staff are amazing and truly make the experience so much more enjoyable!
After attending university of the fraser valley, northern alberta institute of technology and Lakeland college, I have came to the conclusion that thompson rivers is on top of their game. Many institutions are ran like a business because they are. And push students through. TRU has an approach that influences the trades students to make their own decisions and teach you to use all available resources so that you can work independently as a journey person in the trade. I do not have words to represent the shallow mindedness of some other institutions. I would recommend TRU to all trades people.
School has been great so far. They are very welcoming and make you aware of what resources and services are available to you on campus.
Phenominal building. Classrooms are well stocked with lots of different project for all classes. Instructors are great. Id reccomend it.
Love the campus in the fall! So beautiful!
