Walked in and ordered a cheeseburger, the woman taking my order said "that will be a 2 hour wait".I walked out. That was my first and last visit. There are many places up or down Rt..7 that you can get a great cheeseburger without the wait.

American and British comfort foods, great waffles and egg dishes. This is an unusual restaurant - a favorite of locals, motorcyclists, and Appalachian Trail hikers. Excellent tea served in proper British tea pots. Every meal is prepared one at a time, so if it is crowded the wait can be long, but you are bound to fall into conversation with the varied and friendly crowd. Outdoor and front porch seating available too. Prices are modest. One of my favorite stops when I am in Falls Village.

Greg and Annie do a great job. It's just Greg in the kitchen so it can be up to an hour for food. It's well worth it, their food is amazing and so is their coffee. While waiting grab a cup of coffee or a drink and a book and relax. Toymakers is a hidden gem in Northwest Connecticut. Must try items are the waffles and the burgers.

If you want a nice place to ride to. This place has a burger you will enjoy and the foliage going there is so nice.
