Cool quaint town to eat, shop or just hang out. Very walkable, free public parking with multiple entrances and moderately expensive but beautiful and well stocked shops. Easy 2-3 hours well spent. We did find a parking spot but no info about fees or clarity if it was free. We did park for 2 hours and no tickets. Some construction at the end of June 2022 making a bit congested in a particular area.
Jackson Town square is a must see! Amier arches, have been gales to the Jackson Town Square 1 since 1960. The antlers are from elk that winter on the National Elk Refuge. About 7,500 elk spend each winter on the refuge. The bulls shed their antlers each spring. Antlers are picked up by local Boy Scouts and sold by public auction in this square each May. All four arches were built by the Jackson Hole Rotary Club. The arches are here for all to enjoy it is unlawful to remove antlers from these arches, and subject to $750 in fines.
This is a cozy little town with the Elk Antler Arches being an iconic thing to see. The town is beautiful and it is surrounded by mountains. In the town, you can find lots of shops and restaurants.
Such a great town square, both in the summer and winter! Ice skating performances, dog sled racing, and all around fantastic landmark to explore. Make sure to check out the antler arches at the main entrances!
What a great place. Luckily it's off season for tourists. Ended up buying a mini hair tie in the fur shop. That's about all most people could afford.
Was a beautiful area, park is not dog friendly - no dogs allowed. Was touristy, but is just 5 minutes from the Grand Tetons. People all-over, so drive carefully and if you want a picture in front of any of the Elk Arches, best be prepared to wait in line. Over all, beautiful place. We had a great time.
This town is very lively and full of life....If you want to enjoy nature & a good evening in town... So this is one of the best places to enjoy your stay
The town square of downtown Jackson Hole is very unique and charming. The antler archers on the 4 corners of the town square are a staple for your visit. We enjoyed a beautiful brisk afternoon walking around and popping into the different shops. My main reason for giving 4 stars is that I wish downtown Jackson Hole had more local good/unique shops rather than SO many touristy tee shirt shops.
Aside from all the construction, we enjoyed the Town Square. Plenty of shops to visit! Good restaurant selection in the area.
Had a table of 10, the average star review was actually 3.5. Some where solid 4s, some 3s. Fries were great, fish and chips are awesome, burgers were a little dry and extremely light on sauce. Service was quick, friendly, and a great vibe. PS. They have EXTREMELY poisonous flowers outside. So don't let your dogs or kiddos near them. called Foxglove. Purple flower in the photo
