It is so hard to make an appointment with the family doctor Doad. The reception never answers the call nor call back. The only thing we can do to see the family doctor is to go there in person and wait several hours like walk in patients! I have never seen any clinic with so poor management and wasting other's time!! If the receptions don't even bother to answer the phone, why set up the phone line??????? Ridiculous!
My daughter is sick for one week, family doctor said either stay home or go to emergency. We end up coming here after 2hours doctor let us go with no prescription!!! Neither MDs nor emergency’s do anything for patients! They say go home if you die let us know!
Called at 9.39am and got straight to a voice mail and heard the "we are closed" message. You opem today at 9.30am and it shows your staff does not care about your timings. If i were the owner I would fire the staff, carefully interview new people who are serious about their jobs.
Dr Doad is my family doctor for many years, I followed her even when she moved to this new location few years ago when her Yonge office got closed due to Viva constructions. She listens, does not interrupts, willingly accommodates your asks.
I LOVE Dr. Doad! I am new to Richmond Hill and new to this office and had such an amazing experience today. So good in fact, that I am writing my first ever review because after seeing the poor reviews here, I feel it’s important to share my experience. When I called, the receptionist answered the phone and was professional and friendly, and she answered all of my many questions. I made sure to go in the middle of the afternoon on Tuesday knowing that it’ll likely be less busy at that time. There was only two patients ahead of me. The receptionist “Joveline” I think was awesome —friendly and helpful! Dr. Doad was VERY kind, compassionate and patient with me. I had a few things to discuss and she didn’t rush me, instead she kindly answered all my questions and provided me with so much help and the resources I need. I’m soooooo happy that I found her!!! 5 BIG STARS!
Terrible doctor! Poor listener, and doesn't take your symptoms seriously.
Literally closed today on Saturday at 11am when it says it’s open. Way to show your patients you care. I can’t even go to another pharmacy to get my meds because Its a controlled substance. Can’t even make an appointment because the receptionist never answers. Mailbox always full. Doesn’t answer emails. Don’t waste your time going here.
I have been a patient with Dr. Doad for almost a year now and in that time not only have I visited the clinic multiple times but I also take my two children and my husband. Between the four of us, our experience has been good. Unlike some of the other reviews, I have never had an issue getting a referral from the doctor. In fact, she had to suggest twice to me that she refer me to a clinic to help with my weight loss goals and I had great success. As for the clinic, I have never had to wait more than 20-30 minutes for an appointment. The staff has been very helpful on many occasions. I also delight in how I see the interpersonal relationships that the staff have with some of the patients who are probably more regular.
My visit was great! I went to the receptionist desk and she sent me straight to the waiting room. That's not always going to happen of course but anyway, she was so kind and in a good mood. The doctor was also really nice and the guy who gave me my prescriptions. Maybe they fired the rude people, give them another chance :
I used to go here fairly often, Dr Ricky was great, when he left I started seeing Dr Doad. Had no issues with Dr Doad until I required a pap test during a walk in appointment, when she saw me she stated she didn’t have time to do the Pap test and that she had too many people to see in the waiting room. I didn’t even know what to say ...sorry you have to do your job? I just said “oh” then she went and did a pap for me anyways. Uncomfortable interaction so I havent gone back since.
