PHYSIOTHERAPY

Our treatment programs reduce pain, rehabilitate and improve overall form and function of muscles and joints due to new and old injuries. Depending on the condition, treatment programs may include passive treatments such as therapeutic ultrasound, EMS (electrical muscle stimulation), stretching or active exercise programs.

CHIROPRACTIC

A non invasive, hands on way of helping joint and or muscle pain by adopting a corrective and preventative approach to assist in the care of new and old conditions. Our chiropractors will work with the joints and muscles of your spine as well as other painful areas of the body.

MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT INJURIES

Motor vehicle accidents often cause whiplash injuries to the neck and lower back along with other areas of the body that can cause pain and disability to the injured person. Some injuries can cause you to loose time from work and stop you from activities that you previously enjoyed doing! Our health professionals are trained to help patients who have suffered injuries as a result of a car accident. Your treatment may include seeing our chiropractor, physiotherapist and massage therapist. ACUPUNCTURE

Contemporary Medical Acupuncture is a precise peripheral nerve stimulation technique, in which fine solid needles (acupuncture needles) are inserted into specific areas, and stimulated manually or with electricity for the therapeutic purpose of controlling abnormal activity of the nervous system (nerves) and increasing circulation to the painful areas to relieve pain and improving function.

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPY

By massaging the body’s soft tissues such as muscles, tendons and ligaments, a massage therapist can affect the muscular, nervous (nerves) and circulatory systems. By doing this, the blood supply to an affected or problem area is increased, normal movement is restored and pain caused by stiffness and limited joint motion is reduced. Massage therapy can help in both treatment and prevention of pain and injuries.

CHIROPODY/ORTHOTICS

Whether you are having pain in your feet, knees, ankles or lower back, poorly aligned foot function (biomechanics) may be causing your pain! Flat feet and high arches can both cause bad walking stresses on your feet. We use the most accurate technology (laser) to measure, prescribe and make custom-made foot inserts (that are specifically for you) and footwear to help correct proper foot foundation structure, improving comfort and mobility. Our foot specialists also provide treatments for callous/corn/plantar wart removal, ingrown nail care, diabetic and arthritic foot care.
