In 2023, how does a business still use styrofoam products?? From the styrofoam takeout container, to the styrofoam salad cup, and the plastic sauce cup, utensil and bag—my ENTIRE lunch waste is landfill-bound. Please do better. I have to do better, so unfortunately, I won’t be eating here again. I know the costs of running a business are high right now, but the costs of turning a blind eye to environmental issues are also high. Which side do you want to be on?
I have not had a bad meal here yet. Its kind of a quiet place with the exception of the food prep. The staff were helpful and quick and I did not have to wait very long to get my order. I suggest the fried rice and chicken Teriyaki.
I’ve tried twice now I remember Toshi being the best what happened guy was tail nice but the chicken was so dry and tough very expensive for ten pieces of chicken over a scoop of rice calling it a large ‍
Not what they used to be, nor really good quality for the price. I ordered 1 chicken breast teriyaki dish, 1 chicken thigh dish, and 1 order of spring rolls and came to $33.64 before tax. CHicken was overcooked, and had not been marinated very well at all in the teriyaki sauce. There's better teriyaki places to go to for the price.
I've had/tried MANY teriyaki places and this one is really good! One of the best chicken and beef plates I've had in the area.
Been here multiple times and each time has been disappointing. The quality of the food is not good compared to other Toshis.
Toshi's in Kenmore is one of our favorite teriyaki restaurants. The food is always fresh and tastes great! We love the grilled chicken skewers and combo plates!
Licking the sidewalk would be healthier than eating here. I've typed & retyped this review three times because I thought what I was saying was "too mean" but I have to be honest: EATING HERE WILL MAKE YOU SICK. I work at one of the businesses in the same strip as Toshi's & one of my coworkers ate here for lunch; He had to leave work early because he got sick not even an hour after finishing the food! My boss even told me, "I told him not to eat there because I ate there once & I got sick too." Last year I ate here once & didn't get sick, because my teriyaki was SO SALTY that I threw it away after eating one bite. I have no idea how these people remain in business. If you want good teriyaki in Kenmore try out Ichiban Teriyaki, they're near Kenmore camera & the Kenmore post office. Wonderful food, great portions for the prices, & it won't make you sick!
An experience? How about this. I first ate at this convenient restaurant I lived in Kenmore over 30 years ago, when I think it was set up in the late 1980's ?. It was great tasting food back then and they still serve it today, without costing too much. Second experience? My girlfriend became my wife there while we were having lunch one day--couldn't wait any longer, and neither could she. °_° Thank you for the memorable meal, Toshi.
Well, I won't be coming back here. I knew I would be paying more just for where they are located and what not, but they basically forgot the Bull in my Bulgogi. A couple of small straps of beef and a whole lot of vegetables. Wifes chicken teriyaki was same thing, just a small slab.. the kids katsu was decent I guess, but she doesn't eat much anyways. I guess I didn't realize there was a beef and chicken shortage along with the oil shortage to drive the prices up and give us less.... we just moved to Kenmore and will be finding a better teriyaki elsewhere.
